The Baldwin Hungry Horse in Birmingham

5 of us out for mothers day, 2 cold plates of chips, food missing from 2 of the meals, chicken very tough, lasagne sent back as freezing, no meat or pasta just cheese, 1 meal sent back & asked not to replace.However, when complained daughter got the price of the full refunded apart from the drinks, several others were complaining at the same time, a real shame as previously food had been good.

The Baldwin pub in Baldwin's lane Hall Green --A family style pub with set menus -plenty of car parking-- it has a bowling green -- it serves good hot meals on the weekend has live bands and other pub activities - the pub made of brick is in the one half shape of a ship the other half is the magpies in Hall Green Shirley road which if it is put together with the Baldwin it would be the shape of the boat well worth a visit

Me and my partner just had an amazing meal here... The staff were really friendly and the food was really fresh and cooked perfectly.Buy 1 get one free burgers and a breakfastCallum was our server today and Martin was the manager both were very attentive to all the customers and made everyone feel welcome and had everything they needed... However I never asked the names of the other staff members that took the orders ect.. but the place was really clean and they all seemed to be doing a fantastic job with all the customers...Tonight was a great success and the food was cooked to perfection so a big 5 stars from me and my partner for a job well done.😋😋😋

Always a friendly smile greeting you when entering. The food is always so good never have to wait too long can't beat the delicious puddings too! Great to see more families going there too, everytime we come here it's always a 5 star from us. Our children love coming for their favourite meal and pudding too. Always leave with a smile on their faces

Amazing food, Great for families. The staff are always so welcoming. Service is amazing. Love to see that they are doing entertainment and fun days for children. This is what we love!! Keep up the great work we love the baldwin!!

Went in for an all day breakfast with my cousin, the food was brilliant asked how I wanted(even though I am a picky person) staff we friendly. I was offered a wide range of sauces which was thankful and a very friendly atmosphere! Would recommend.

Decent food however understandably this being a family pub, it is still a restaurant for everybody. Every time we come to eat here there are kids running round screaming uncontrollably. Wouldn’t hurt for the staff to turn to the parents to get them to control their kids. Not fair on the experience of the other guest’s trying to dine in piece. Failing this, an 18+ dining area may be a good idea considering the amount of ignorant parents who think this place is a playground for their children.

Value for money & kids love it.... If the idea of a kid running past you while you eat horrifies you then go to a gastro pub. Hungry horse pubs do family friendly value for money, this cannot be disputed....

Always to place to go when you want to go somewhere for good quality food and great service! Daily deals are so good. Lovely to see the baldwin getting back to how it used to be which is AMAZING!!

I went there with the whole family. I wished I didn't. Went for offers, like 2 burgers for a certain price, but what weren't specified is that certain burgers aren't part of the deal. I couldn't care paying but its principle. The food took a long time, people came after us got served before us and this is the second time this happened. Food itself were good but I would rather pay a bit more for accurate information and maybe service.
