Absolutely amazing gluten-free fish and chips.We visited here for the first time ever tonight after calling the shop and speaking to the owner, he explained if we wanted gluten-free he would cook it fresh to order.We arrived and that’s exactly what they did, it was beautifully prepared fresh gluten-free fish and chips. They even cooked the chips fresh to order in separate fryers, and their knowledge and consideration in making sure There was no cross contamination was excellent.Super friendly staff and top quality Fish, we’ve visited many fish and chip shops that do gluten-free and this is most definitely on the top of the list.Thanks so much, will definitely be visiting here regularly.

No longer frying in dripping :-(. You gotta do your own. Nice staff though. Delicious fish and chips, fried in beef dripping. Thank God there's still a proper chippie in S Birmingham :-)

This is my regular! I walk past two other chip shops for this place which speaks for itself.Owners are a great family and not some chain all about profit!Love the place, even sneak the odd cone when walking my dogs 😍😍😍🤩

Purchased food from here this evening, the chips were bearly cooked, very pale a greasy. The cod was tasteless and not the same quality as it usually is. Very disappointed especially as it isn't cheap!

Not our nearest chippy but our daughter is coeliac and The Cod Pot makes fantastic gluten free fish and chips and we discovered their chips are amazing so we all buy our fish and chips from here too. The owner is very polite, reassuringly knowledgeable and helpful and we ring to pre order the gf order. Highly recommend.

An Excellent Chippe! I eat Gluten free and if you ring up the owner he will have Gluten free fish and chips in 20 minutes... ready to pick up. Very tasty food indeed and always a good Craic when picking up :)

About as good F&C’s can get outside of Yorkshire. Fish superb albeit batter could do with some R&D. Staff passionate and super dooper friendly. Fantastic chippy overall.

Absolutely lovely fish and chip shop . The fish and chips are cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and helpful . The owners are a fantastic couple . I just wish they'd open a plaice ( lol ) in Chelsea and Liverpool.

Woman serving was a delight. Chicken was good, bread on burger was great, could be a bit liberal with the mayo. Clean shop, brilliant portion sizes and great price. Overall democracy manifest
