Cheap food , half a cup of coffee , very expensive

Paid over £3 for this "cup" of vanilla latte which came half empty, when I questioned this I was advised that's how it comes. So want to share this review to let everyone else know as not really what I'd expect from a regular coffee.

Never eat here. The food is very poor. Tasteless and obviously cheap ingredients. Cheese didn’t even taste of cheese, was just gross. I gave verbal feedback to the staff who didn’t seem interested and no apology.

This is the worst place I’ve ever been to! Have been served with the worst manner possible! Asked them to warm my scone and they refused . However I bought one in hope it will be okay... it was rock solid ! Have showed to a man at the till and been treated again very rude ! I have got a refund for the scone (3.10) but that doesn’t change the fact that staff where unprofessional especially the man ( I think he was some sort of manager ) and I felt as they where racist too! I will not gonna go there ever again! I wish I wouldn’t have stepped in there in first place !!!!

Unhelpful staff, terrible service. Asked for a proper cup as opposed to a plastic one for my tea only to be told they don't do them - yet I'd had to clear used teapots and cups and saucers from my table before I could sit down. No plates out to serve yourself cake and when we pointed it out we were given a stack to take over for them! It's a nice location but that's meaningless when the experience is so substandard.

If I could award no stars for this place I would. Why? Because of the sullen indifference of the staff to a simple request for a glass of water with food (they used to provide free water). "£1.80 for a bottle please sir". I thought we are supposed to be reducing our use of plastic - clearly not this place. A disgrace.

Terrible. Not very good at all. Coffee terrible. Over extracted, undrinkable. Thinking of taking it back. Lady at counter abrupt. Music I would say isn't very suited to surroundings at all. For the staff instead of the customers perhaps? Not impressed. Lovely view however and cake is decent

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Manager is rude, rest of the staff are no better. They stop serving food at EXACTLY 2pm,not a second more..they won’t tell you but you must know this beforehand. The rest of the garden is amazing, I will definitely go back but will take my own food next time. They ruined a perfectly good day, especially since I had to leave the venue and find another place to feed my girls.😡

If the Pavilion Tea Room could speak it would say: 'We have a captive audience so we can charge what we like and maximise our profits by buying the cheapest ingredients possible. F*** you.' It is a full scale insult. In normal circumstances I'd have turned around and voted with my feet, but I had to buy food as my mum is diabetic and my sister hadn't eaten all morning. I paid about £15 for two limp, anaemic sandwiches, two cups of tea and two packets of crisps. It didn't ruin my day out but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. If you still want to try it, please be aware that it stops serving hot food at about 2pm (check before you go) and appears to sell nothing even vaguely healthy. Good luck!

The food is way overpriced for what it is (although the afternoon tea seemed underpriced) and its interior looks like a school canteen. It's only redeeming characteristic is its location.
