The Conservatory at Hornton Grange in Birmingham

A stunning independent building, operating as part of the Edgbaston Park Hotel. It has a fabulous period fireplace, a relaxed vibe and is perfect for residential courses and training, as its large enough for medium sized groups.

Very nice place, clean, good place for wedding and privacy party's, good service, good food.

Grounds and room are beautiful but drink prices are terrible

I took a friend in her mid 80's here for her to have lunch with her school friends. The staff are very pleasant and look after the ladies very well. It's a very genteel environment with beautiful views over the well kept gardens to the fields beyond. Calm and tranquil.

We held our wedding reception at Hornton Grange in October 2018 and we had the most amazing day. The venue is perfect for a wedding - Hornton Grange and the grounds are beautiful, the bedrooms in Hornton are exceptionally comfortable and luxurious and the Edgbaston Park Hotel can accommodate the rest of your guests. The staff were really accommodating of our wishes in preparation for the day and the reception ran like clockwork. Nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests commented on not just the quality of the food but also the excellent service. Thanks to the hardwork and foresight of everyone at Hornton Grange on the day. Hornton Grange has only recently re-opened after a major extension to the University's conference facilities and to provide the level of service that they did for us and our guests was a great achievement. We can't recommend this place highly enough. We simply cannot associate the previous review, with the service excellence we received from Hornton Grange and the Edgbaston Park Hotel on the day.

Staff dropped the wedding cake, destroying the top two tiers, then CUT the base into pieces so the couple couldn’t even cut their own cake. Glasses weren’t polished, the PA system wasn’t turned on straight away after the band stopped playing and the lights were on full as the dimmer switch was ‘broken’
