Best Italian, and not only, restaurant in Birmingham! Everything is made fresh and not microwaved as many restaurants do. Food is authentic italian. The staff is very polite and caring. So lucky to live near by!

The food, people and overall experience was great. No complaints, would eat there everyday if I could! I can’t eat gluten and haven’t tasted pasta that was gluten free and tasted good, their chefs know what they are doing. Amazing and couldn’t recommend more.

Can’t help but think this place has gone down hill.Had there special today along with a some other dishes the special was octopus. Everything was sub par, apart from the lamb Raghu. But the octopus is was so over cooked and dry wow. I told the lady and she said well we have sold lots tonight so I must be wrong. Just because you have sold allot doesn't invalidate what I’m saying. I told her to try is she said she’s okay. Well that says it all. There’s another Italian that’s a lot cheaper and I would argue allot nicer named Gustami.Edit: reply, thanks for getting back to me. There was well over half of that dish left. I ate the thin parts off the octopus and left well over 3 inches of it. Just for the people reading this, the shape of an octopus tentacle is thinner towards the end and gets thicker. The thicker area was like eating an in seasoned tire. I asked for it to be exchanged. I have been to you place well over 10 times in the past and if me returning one dish is an issue then I’m not sure what to say.Of course people make mistakes but to almost insinuate me trying to get it for free? I even offered to tip the woman who served me £15 in any case. It was over cooked.Unfortunately I don’t drink. It makes no sense that you wouldn’t just swap the dish.

Cosy place. We went out for dinner on a Saturday night with my friends. The Pizza was amazing, really impressed also with the kind and helpful staff.

Been here a month ago. Was informed only seafood menus will be available which is absolutely perfect for a seafood lover!Overall food was good and worth the price. The only drawback is the fact that 99% of seafood we were having that night were raw. I will definitely give it a 5 stars if I ate something different. Not to mention it might enhance the flavour of the seafood too!

Charming little restaurant. Walked past it last week and decided to try it. Small menu with fresh, quality authentic dishes. Would love to come again when it’s warm to sit outside. Spaghetti and monkfish were delicious. We had a wonderful evening. Staff were attentive and friendly.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Ingredients are fresh, flavourful, unique and well paired. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys delicious quality Italian food! Staff and the restaurant itself are brilliant as well. Deserves nothing else but 5 stars.

Genuinely one of the best pizzas I've had! We had takeout... The dough was soooo light and crispy, but soft in all of the right places! White sauce based with nduja sausage, mozzarella, rocket and added mushrooms... delicious! Plus the staff are just fantastic, so welcoming and cannot wait to go back! Such a great lil find 👌🏾❤

The experience felt more Italian than any other Birmingham restaurant I’ve visited. I was humbled, greeted by a smiley, nervous member of staff I was led to a little table and chair in the corner of the dining room. There the staff introduced the specials. How many items can the short term memory remember? In my case, this number was exceeded. Thankfully I was able to grasp hold of a few. Of the dishes I ordered the calamari and pasta dishes were arguably some of the best I’ve in the UK.The only issues I had, given my visits to some of the city centres finest, were the lack of “showtime”, the execution of some dishes and the high price. It is a more sociable experience at Laghi’s, given its family roots. If you are looking for drama and prestige with a nod to Italian food you have to visit Legna.
