The mixed grill at lunchtime. All hot, the chips staying hot through the meal. The beef dripping gravy was sublime.Most enjoyable.....and they accepted a blue light card for a discount.

This has always been one of my families favourite pubs since my mum worked here in the 80's! We went for Christmas Day lunch and had such a lovely time. The staff were all exceptional - friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond. The food was good value for money, standard chain pub food. Nothing to complain about for the price charged, and the experience was great. Thanks to all the staff on Christmas Day who worked so hard and made it so lovely.

Had lunch here with a friend. We had ham and cheese and pickle ciabattaThe ciabatta was stale So very dry and like sawdust and not much fillingAsked waitress to tell chef she said she would, but no comment£6. For something we couldn’t eat only saladAnother friend had bread and she said the bread was fresh, why couldn’t we be told the ciabatta was off so we could have had bread.Very disappointed. Perhaps cooked meals are better

1st time going to the Fox and dogs, will definitely go again, staff lovely, food fantastic, although a little wait, but what do you expect when it's good fresh. Highly recommend

Went for my 30th today the staff was very friendly and organised but the food was disgusting peas tasted like bullets the chips and pork pork was nice but the steaks was so rubbey and tuf and way over done and fish was sloppy and the babies burger taste like it was cooked in a microwave

Was here Sunday 24tg from 2pm til late, we were a big party of around 35, some for drinks only, but a the majority of us did have food. Both the food and the service were excellent, the team were friendly and worked hard to ensure that we had all we needed. The empty glasses and plates were always cleared away quickly .Thank you to all of team for the fabulous service you gave us.We shall return.

We had a golf trip to the belfry,44 of us we decided to book a coach to take us to a logal pub we had a couple in mind but ryan was the only person who got back to us to ask what were our requirements over the weekend,we had great pub food saturday night and sunday night most of us had a roast dinner,the staff couldnt do enough for our group,we will be back to the fox and dog a special thanks to ryan and sam we had a great time see you guys soon

Nice place to have bugers, chicken wings or pasta. Large sunny terrace is a huge bonus. Staff is friendly. It's not crowded and has lots of parking.
