"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Met friends on a cold Tuesday lunchtime.It was warm, dark and cosy, like a good old fashioned pub.They make the best hot chocolates here, and we were just meeting to swap presents so had a few portions of chips to pick at.Felt very relaxed.Disabled toilet is nice and big and well lit. Plenty of room to turn a wheelchair around safely and use sink and dryer.Disabled parking food, right by side entrance.Would recommend

Really nice little pub, considering I've lived in Great Barr for my most of my life.....I never used this place. Now we're here every Thursday for a Quiz Night with my parents & we also come here maybe the odd night in between. Always in the Lounge, very friendly yoy don't feel that people stare at you all the time, very relaxed atmosphere & the bar staff are all really friendly & chatty.

As local pubs go in Great Barr, this one is family friendly, nice relaxed atmosphere (we have only been in the lounge) good selection of beers, friendly staff
