Worst pub food ever, took over an hour come and then was wrong. Chicken was burnt, new menu awful. Staff more interested in having a chin wag … never again

Great pub. Food is excellent and the staff are very accommodating. Nothing is to much trouble for them. £2.50 a pint as well can’t go wrong.

Nice place to have lunch and a few drinks with my mom. They seem to really look after the older ones so my mom loves it. Been to a few nights with entertainment here, hopefully be brought back soon.

Never been to this pub before, but it was advertised as closing at 5pm on Christmas Day (i.e. the most generous opening hours in the area).FAR FROM IT!!!Not only was there no real ale available, but worst of all the landlord started shouting at the top his voice at 4.15pm !! (just after we’d ordered our first pint) “FINISH YOUR DRINKS” and practically swept everyone out of the establishment about half an hour early. In my book, 5pm means 5pm and service with a smile, not ‘we’ll take your money, then chuck you out early’.Avoid this establishment at all costs.

Nice pub, nice staff, its been a while since been here. Seems different can't put my finger on it. Food delicious, I had fish and chips beautiful, tasted just like the fish and chips from clay lane chippy.( I think they were), shhhh. I will go again.

I am NOT Apublic place drinking person, so no real comment, the place looked small and friendly and was precooked, for a set party, so was just a quick drink with friends, no time to get a general atmosphere feeling,

Have been twice now, and on both occasions have had a very pleasant experience. Both times as a party of eight, and all of our meals were excellent, cooked Spot on. The bar staff are brilliant and continue to look after you throughout your visit. A smashing team that all work together. We will continue to go back, I hope that the chef is happy and and is not leaving anytime soon!Like a lot of pubs loose your chef and people don't come back!To sum the place up lovely atmosphere great staff excellent food, clean and tidy well-done the journey end team.👍

A real pub, no nonsense and great food. I come here usually once per year for my birthday meal. I always have the mixed grill and it never disappoints. Although today the steak was over cooked it wasn't worth complaining as lovely girl serving behind the bar made up for that. Her customer service was exceptional. Keep up the good work guys, 👍 Ash

This was the first time we tried this pub. We had booked a table, it was reserved away fromthe door, like I requested. The ambience of the place was nice, some music, lively chattering. We came here to try the food, particularly the vegetarian lasagna and was looking forwards to that.It only came with salad, so I asked for portion of seasoned chips. The lady who served us was very nice. My friend odered bangers and mash. We chose from the 2 for £9.50 meals. When food was served I was very disappointed with mine. It didn't look or taste anything like a lasagna. Could see the pasta layers, the vegetables. It came in a round bowl and sides were burned. Tasted of stewe, didn't see any vef or pasta. Nothing like the lasagna I'm used to.Friend enjoyed his meal
