Been going here for the last 15 years and recently seen the menu change to an Indian grill selection , really good food on the menu...the pub is a big place and has a very articulate in Indian themed decor too 👌

Excellent Indian food — recommend the chicken lollipop & chilli chicken! As an Indian guy, it’s hard to find authentic stuff. Also really fast service unlike what the other reviewers have said.

Ordered the mixed grill and lamb chops…in which they charged extra for a tiny side salad, every bit of meat was disgusting and tasteless, lamb chops absolutely horrific, and when we sent back the lot and told the manager he simply said ‘sorry I’ll kick the chef up the arse’ poor customer service from a once decent pub on the fast decline. Portion sizes are small, staff are rude & food is rubbish.

Nice place, service is good and the food is tasty. And if you can't eat it all you can have a doggy. A good value cocktails.

Absolutely awful. Went for a family meal. Pre booked food pre ordered for 7.00pm. By 9.30 we were still waiting for our main meals! People were screaming and falling over drunk yet still being served more drinks. It was awful no other words for it. I ended up leaving with my 12 year old daughter without eating as she was too scared to stay any longer.

Absolutely atrocious service from this pub and I would give a zero rating if possible. I have been a vegetarian all my life (33 years) and I’ve not eaten meat to this day until I visited King’s Head last week. I asked for a paneer wrap but was given a chicken wrap by the incompetent staff. I had eaten some of it before realising. I approached the waitress who looked shocked. The waitress made the manager aware who said “well she’s eaten half of it”. I’m sorry I wasn’t aware that I had to unravel the foil, the naan bread, peel off the lettuce, scrape off the sauce and dissect what I believed is paneer (the order I made and paid for) to find it’s in fact chicken. I should then complain and wait another half an hour for my correct order to be made. The waitress said to rectify the error I could either have a paneer wrap which I ordered in the first place or get a refund. As I felt so revolted I asked for a refund. The waitress put £4.50 down on the table and left. I didn’t even get a full refund for my dinner and drink, just the money for the wrap that I didn’t order. Absolutely ludicrous and despicable behaviour. The fact is the pub was more or less empty with only about 3 other small groups of guests, some of which who were not eating. Also the waitresses were just chatting and sitting on top of the bar which was very unprofessional. I made a formal complaint in writing and I’m yet to hear a response which I doubt I will ever get. Also the tables are sticky, the chairs are dirty and the DJ plays the same songs on repeat. When it rains it drips through into the restaurant and the electrical fittings. Half of the toilets/soap dispensers/ dryers don’t work. If you want food that is against your beliefs and that you haven’t ordered, limited range of overpriced drinks that take over an hour to arrive, lazy incompetent staff and health hazards galore then this place is for you.

Great food, good sized portions and good value too. A bit quiet and cavernous but we probably went at the wrong time (4.30 Sunday afternoon). Definitely worth another visit just to be sure!

Amazing pub food was beautiful and tasty and staff were so friendly. I really recommend it as space is cozy and formidable.

It has a convenient location, parking and lovely ambience . Service is good. We tried their paneer wrap naan with masala chips and a portion of fish pakoras. Food was delicious. Only downside was that fish pakora portion was small. Not much variety of vegetarian options/dishes. Not sure if was due to the reduced menu or normally its like that too.

The last time I came in here it was rather rundown, so it was a pleasant surprise to see that the pub had vastly improved. The car park is sufficient for patrons, but remember to enter your reg when you go in. The interior is spacious with lots of seating and the decor is fresh, simplistic modern. There is a wide range of drink choices available at the bar and plenty of food choices from several menus. Being Sunday, I picked from the Sunday lunch menu - which didn't disappoint. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service was efficient. Food was served hot, and the portions were not skimpy. It's a shame it wasn't hotter weather as I'd have sat outside in the beer terrace.Great dining experience that I will definitely be trying again. Very pleased.
