The Queslett in Birmingham

We had a meal yesterday, 24/3/22. It was extremely busy and the waitresses etc were run off their feet 😔felt sorry for them. Unfortunately our 2 orders of fish and chips were over fried. The fish was in a over fried rock hard batter 😒chips were dark brown in colour. Hence not a good meal for me or my daughter. The staff would have seen the amount of batter and food left on the plate.

*Updated to 4* review because of friendliness of staff*Decent food, good beer, could do with a little freshening up but is nice and ideal for a quick drink or bite to eat.Tip - The car park operates number plate recognition so make sure you enter your Reg on entry to the pub otherwise you'll be fined.

Visited for dinner with the family, food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Only disappointment was the meals were brought to the table over a period of 10 minutes and not together.

We had a lovely meal it's a beautiful place . We will go again.

I have been using this pub now for many years I have Sunday lunch there most weeks with no problems at all but the last 2 Sundays the service hasn't been the best . First week we ordered 2 lunches and they only bought one out and last week we waited over an hour for 2 Sunday lunches and they were luke warm when they finally arrived don't know what's gone wrong just lately but the service has never been this bad

Hi came in last night for girls Christmas night we was very disappointed as we wanted the festive menu but it was not available. But the food we did have was lovely 😍.The pub was full of very young people which didnt add great atmosphere to the pub. There was also no door staff and no staff checking ids 🤷🤷

Food was terrible, starters were breaded mushrooms, there wasn't one mushroom in my dish, returned it. Had steak for mains, full of fat, cooked that well done that I had trouble cutting it...returned it. Desert was treacle Sponge...it was lovely hence the 1 star!

The Queslett is a very comfortable and friendly pub we had the full English which was delicious and the staff are fantastic

Fab. Managed to get us a table even though we hadn't booked. Very covid secure. The food was hot and arrived super quick, the drinks also arrived very quickly. We sat down, ordered and ate in less than 45 minutes. No complaints at all

Very lovely and hard working staff, clean environment, the chicken and ribs grilled was delicious, first time here was quite busy but very friendly and welcoming staff. Free parking as long as u speak to the staff to take your car registration.
