The Sun At The Station in Birmingham

Came here on mother's Day so it was quite busy. Something immediately shocked me, a customer said the teaspoons were dirty so the server took them back to bar, the lady who I think runs this pub then got a tea towel from behind the bar and wiped the spoons and put them in the drinks so no fingerprints could be seen. Utterly disgusting esp with covid etc. The other big guy there needs to learn to say please and thank you when accepting payment and may be tell people how much they are paying rather than just shoving a card machine in their face. The young girls serving food were all lovely though. The men's toilets absolutely stank to high heaven too, maybe this shabby tacky look is the thing round here, that's fine but hygiene should be paramount. And for god sake at least clean the graffiti off the toilets

We visited for a Sunday roast as we had been told they were very good. The food was wonderful, lovely roast dinner. We will be returning. It was also nice to sit out the back in the covered garden to finish our drinks.

Went for drumming class every Wednesday 7pm. Great atmosphere and Damon provides the drum if you don't have. Only £6 a session. Lovely people as well.

Had Christmas Lunch here. Absolutely brilliant, couldn't fault it at all. Food was really tasty and so much off it that honestly if they gave you half the amount you wouldn't complain. Staff happy, friendly and attentive. A great value. Will definitely be a return visit for us.

For a place on the high street it is a massive pub. The real beauty is the back garden. However I will be updating this review properly. When I go back there..

Fabulous food, fabulous people, fabulous ambience. Recommend very highly, especially for Sunday lunch at a great price. We'll done everyone!

I've just eaten one of the best Sunday roasts I've eaten in years. The portions were big and it was delicious from the honeyed carrots through to the crispy light yorkshires. The atmosphere in the covered area was peaceful and the service great. Very much recommended.

What can I say "probably the best pub" in Moseley Kings heath and its not because I fancy the bar staff🤣🤣. Brilliant time there great food drinks lovely rear garden with a bar and you can smoke and dance to the dj. Staff will actually bring your drinks to your table 2 large function rooms..I'm going there again bank holiday August..you all need to come down you won't be disappointed. 💯💯💯🎵🎶🔊🔥. And I parked right outside 👊🏾👊🏾.

Our party of 7 were swiftly seated in the excellent outside area. We declined to order by app and that was OK by our waitress. Wine and water were quickly provided while we ordered in the old fashioned way! Our food was excellent, as were the coffees afterwards. It was reasonably priced too. The only gripe was that the website menu bore no relation to the the actual menu. No matter, we all had a good time and that's the main thing. To be recommended.
