Held my mother in law's wake here, staff we're very pleasant & helpful we we're a bit early tea and coffee we're ready for us to help ourselves & they got the food out as soon as they could ,nice mixture of thing's the wrap's we're a little disappointing though all went well

The new menu had a good choice of dishes including things you wouldn't expect like a doner kebab.Pub was really busy and we struggled to find a table, which in a way was nice as lots of pubs never reopened after lockdown.Food was lovely, although the other half would have preferred his steak to be served on a normal plate as he said it was overcooked by the time he got back from the bar with a pint due to the heat of the skillet! The fox enjoyed the bit we took home 🤣

Although the pub was nice the service was terrible and the staff didn't inform us the deal was not on even tho we asked for the deal. It wasn't till we got the receipt and questioned the amount we was informed of this. It's a shame really as we would have been quite happy with it but the communication was lacking and they were more interested in something they had lost or was removed from behind the bar

Went to the Towers for the first time with my mum. Food was incredible nice and hot and fresh. 100% eat from here again. But a massive thank you to kerri who served us. She such a lovely person, made the visit more rememberable to have a laugh and a smile with the staff. She a credit to the towers.

I had a pre Christmas meal there with family and the Christmas meal itself was poor, it looked like pretty cooked processed turkey cut on a slicing machine ,cold veg and 1 pig in blanket , service was good and maybe we should have complained but I won't be going back .

Sunday roast was lovely, had the slow cooked beef, would of preferred the chicken but I don't like picking chicken off the bone. Maybe put chicken fillet on the menu as well?

Rang 20 mins before attending for food to makesure they were serving at 5:15pm, assured they were to get there and to the bar to be told that actually they had closed the kitchen. Meaning we had to traipse 5 children elsewhere for their tea. We were clearly seated at the eating tables and nobody had taken the time to mention this before. When I asked for a refund on the parking was told that if you are attending the pub you don't have to pay. This is not clearly sign posted.

Very poor serviceOrdered fish and chips on arrival of food told no vinegar!! Asked why I was not told this when I ordered at the bar - Manager said they do not have to tell you or provide condiments with any meals .The Manager said they regularly run out of Salt and it is what it is! Funny that I all my years coming here never had any problems with condiments, any case coop is just across the Rd !Asked for money back as was not happy- refused - suddenly Vinegar appeared .Unfortunately the food was over cooked dry( Haddock) and the oil needed changing chips were very dark in colour .I ate as I was not willing to give my money and get nothing in return .Very unhappy customer came out for lunch big mistake ..I stick to Marcos !! ( If you know you know)A local for year gone down hill..Will Never return..

Went for lunch as a party of four. Were seated on the ground floor as we had requested and dealt with by pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Great choice on the menu and food ordered was excellent (tasty, good portions and hot). Dessert also didn't disappoint - sorry I didn't take photos! Great value for money and will definitely make a return visit😊👍🏾

Had a very nice meal here.I had the roast chicken with mash and gravy etc.The chicken was very tender and tasty and all of the courses were good, including the tomato and basil soup and the sponge pudding.Service was also good, despite staff being busy with a private function. Will be back soon!
