Been here multiple times and will continue to go more. Nice staff, good Guinness, hot food. Can fill up quickly.Plenty of TVs for sport.Location is good as very close to the train station, not far from shops and taxi's can pick you up right outside.

Basic pub grub. Great value tapas.Bit of disappointment with food order, items missing from dish upon arrival, was not presentable! Staff addressed issue promptly and proffessionally.Had a few cocktails. Overall, lovely afternoon, good service and food very well priced. Extremely clean and inviting establishment.Worth a visit.

I went here on a night out with some of my friends to the Trocadero last night and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was great and we even had some lovely food between us, we stayed right until the pub closed. We ended up going home not long after, when I realised I had lost my wallet. So this morning I went back to the Trocadero to see if I had left it there. Thankfully they had found it and kept it behind the bar for me! The member of staff (I believe his name was Johnny) even asked if I had a good night last night and was incredibly nice and polite.Would highly recommend this pub for the wonderful staff and very good atmosphere

A group of 9 of us from work came Into this place to have a few drinks. We approached the bar to get served and were ignored for 10 mins although there was 2 staff members behind the bar chatting to each other and then the bar man walked past our whole group and served another customer who had just approached the bar.I can understand the confusion if it was a really busy night as it may be hard to keep track of who came to the bar first but there was nobody else there and the place was dead so this was clearly deliberate so we decided to leave and not even get a drink. I'd recommend going to one of the many other lovely bars on that same road as we went to most others and they were lovely places but out experience here was terrible. You would expect the service to be amazing in a place like this that charges so much for it's drinks but unfortunately that is not the case.

Been going to this pub regularly since I started at university in September, all of the staff are very friendly and always serve me quickly and always polite towards me, I'm on a first name basis with many members of the staff such as John, Reece Louise, and Beth who are always happy to see me walk in

Very disappointed with our service last night. We went to Birmingham as was attending the Pantomime at the Hippodrome. There was four of us in total 3 adults 1 childWe arrived at around 4.45 ,as soon as we got to a table ,the girl from behind the bar camer ushing to the table asking ,if we would all be eating .I replied that we were ,her attitude was curt at the least .My son and his partner ordered their food off the app ,where as I went to the bar to order mine and my daughters,.The same staff member then said she would have to see ID, off my son before she could process is order, I explained ,that they were both 22,had ID, and both were teetotal. It was just her rudeness ,the way she spoke that was off.Next thing we starting eating our food ,same staff member yet again comes to our table ,and says you need to leave by 6pm ,as we can't have children in then. Now if that was case ,why didn't they say ,when we entered pub in beginning, that they had a no child policy, instead of making us feel uncomfortable. The last thing was ,my son had actually ordered lemonade for his drink ,he got water with lemons ,when I took it to the bar to say it was just water ,the same staff member ,said that was what he had ordered on the app ,but she would change it free of charge ,although I offered to pay ,Checking the order on his phone ,my son did actually, order lemonade ,we have proof ,No wonder you changed it free if charge. The staff member in question is called mckenzieI suggest dear ,you go and take extra training on manners and customer service

Warning to all non-Europeans!! They do not accept drivers licenses/identification from outside of Europe! I provided a North American drivers license and a British Residency Permit and was denied. I was told a passport wouldn’t have even worked.I already paid for my drink, then after blaming me for ‘not being able provide valid I.D.’, would not refund me what I paid, and made me leave the bar.Never had an issue remotely similar to this at other pubs/bars in the UK. Would avoid.

Recently refurbished, this bar offers an excellent selection of good quality food and drinks. Table service via online app ordering was a nice bonus and the service was very quick, even with the online aspect. Big TV screens throughout make this place a great sports bar during major sporting events as well as weekend football. Staff are friendly and helpful.
