Had a lovely meal at the Quinton Toby Carvery last night. The roast was excellent as usual. The staff were very kind and helpful, although they seemed to be rushed off their feet (are they short staffed?). My coffee was a bit weak but we were so glad to return after the pandemic and support our local restaurant.

Lovely food. Excellent service. Value for money. My only complaint is as with all Toby carvery s the sauces ( mint. Mustard. Horseradish etc). Taste like they've had a bag of sugar added. Just so sweet you actually can't taste anything else but sugar. So much for trying to get the young UN's off sweet addiction. Next time I go I'm taking my own . Bought from the supermarket which has only had half a bag of sugar added 😔😃.

Went for breakfast with family before a long journey. We waited a while to be seated, found the lady who served us at the till to be a little rude and abrasive, we hadn't been before and didn't know what to expect but she huffed at us whilst ordering as we didn't know what was expected. She'd for a glass of orange and she grabbed a glass, we asked what size it was, she says medium we asked what next size up was and she replied curtly "bigger than that one!" Sighed then said "Do you want to see it?" Felt like we were inconveniencing her by being there. There were others sherry waiting to book in for breakfast too and they got the same treatment.Whilst waiting for breakfast, we had to ask a chef three times for more greeted eggs, there was a queue of around 8 people just waiting for eggs by this point. The was also no beans left (just dropped stodge at the bottom) and no spoons out to relive tea bags. We also had to wait behind two other people whilst the milk was refilled, the jay at the front said they took it to fill it ten minutes earlier and she was still waiting, we sat and ate instead if waiting for milk then had to leave food to go child whilst going back to put milk in tea once it was filled up.Family of four adults and one child, who travel to Birmingham often and stay over a few times a year. Definitely won't be back for breakfast at this Toby carvery, worst one we've ever tried sadly.

I visited this carvery at lunchtime yesterday with my son. I've eaten here many times in the past but all pre covid I think. The staff were all lovely, helpful and pleasant. We both had the carvery meal and as usual the meat was very good. The Yorkshire puds are enormous but we're more like the texture of prawn crackers so I didn't eat most of mine. The vegetables had flavourings which spoiled them in my opinion, particularly the red cabbage and weren't very warm which is so often the case in a carvery. I'd like to see a microwave on the customers side to pep up the temperature without bothering the staff.I won't visit at this time again as there were a few groups with a small baby, OK if they're sleeping or happy but on several occasions we had a wailing baby close by. I have several babies in my family but never inflict their nuisance on others and years ago when my son was tiny I didn't allow crying or yelling in the garden as I didn't want him to be a nuisance to neighbours. I know attitudes change but all I wanted was the opportunity to catch up with my son.Clearly not the fault of the carvery or staff.

I’ve been wanting to go to this place for ages. The waitress with the tattoo sleeve was quick and very nice. All you can eat roast for £11.49 is so cheap. I wish there was one near my house. Super busy on Sunday but definitely worth it

I visited this Toby carvery twice recently on a Saturday afternoon. It was easy to drive to, with plenty of parking. In fact the car park, & grounds are well planted with greenery. The outside of the building is in good condition, & the interior design & decor are tasteful, & in good condition. The tables are quite well separated, & comfortable seating. There is a small bar area, & also outide area, probably nice in Summer. It was very easy to book a table on the website, & both times i've been greeted quickly, & in a friendly manner, & quickly shown to our table. The Carvery I consider reasonably priced I think, at £8.29 on a Saturday, (I think it is a bit less on weekdays, & a bit more on Sundays.) plus drinks of course. We didn't need to queue for long to get our choice of Beef, Turkey, Gammon, & Pork, plus a yorkshire, & stuffing, then a range of veg. peas, green beans, carrots, roast potatoes, & parsnips Plus nice gravy, & sauces if required. (You can even go back for more veg & gravy if you can manage any more !!Staff were all friendly & helpful, & the food was just a great roast meal !

Good value food.Visited Monday so was reasonably quiet.Personally, I would prefer the food and especially gravy to be hotter, however overall good food and reasonable service.Notes:1. The busier they are, the hotter/fresher the food (carvery buffet).2. I have since discovered that you can ask for your food to be heated in the microwave.

Have to say... The carvery was delicious! I have found most to be over cooked and dry but it was spot on. The staff actually seemed happy to be at work so it was a welcoming experience. Thank you for your hospitality ☺️

Good customer service and they miss place my vega pie order and then dealt with swiftly , however food presentation 5/10 for starters, the main dish you are allowed to customise it by your imagination lol taste 8/10 value for money 8/10 . I found some level of service lacking they can do better , strongly recommend to try this pub out
