Toby Carvery Sutton Park in Birmingham

There was no lamb was available ( unless we wanted to wait another 40 minutes ) . To be fair we could cope with that if what followed hadn’t happened !Beef was very fatty which we pointed out to the waitress when she asked ‘ How was the food ? ‘ only to receive the response’ well nobody else has complained ‘.No real apology was received. Just a few sarcastic comments !Poor attitude to say the least . Obviously a little customer service training wouldn’t go amiss .As it happens when she walked away the diners at the two tables alongside us both said that they found the beef very fatty .

Went on a Sunday for an all you can eat breakfast. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is paid for in advance. You get shown to your table and then when you're ready, you help yourselves to drinks and anything off the all you can eat buffet. I considered it good value for money. Would go back again.

Went today with a large family group for the basic carvery. Have to say - everything was really good. One family member has gone GF and the staff were really great with this - bringing food (and gravy!) prepared separately to avoid risk of any gluten being present. They also helpfully brought details of all the dessert options identifying which contained gluten, which didn't, and how they could make swaps to make the meal safe. Overall very happy with the food and service was exceptional.

Friendly staff, helped accommodate a large family party.Good and quick service for drinks. Had a Sunday Carvery, meat was OK, a little bland, Yorkshire pudding large and nice. Several options for vegetarians in the family. Good selection of veg. Good choice of deserts which were nice. OK quality, what you would expect for a Carvery. Lovely that it is in the park and we could enjoy a walk afterwards

We arrived for breakfast today 10 min to 11 am and they said is already finished . This is not the first time we have an issue with this particular Toby carvery . I had visited other branches and the service is most of the times very good and the food exquisite but but here I do not recommend it

Great service and the meal brilliant, not over priced and the carvery had plenty of choice, the waitress was very helpful, and her knowledge about special diets, she went above and beyond to make the experience pleasurable.

Been using this Carvery since my kids where tiny they are 30 now, not massively regularly but often enough.Went in November wasn't impressed so tasteless had to cover my dinner in salt from such old grubby salt pot.Thought it was a one off so went back this week , oh dear me , lovely staff very friendly front of house and waitress but warm tasteless food , again had to cover In salt for some taste ( please replace those salt pots)As for the sweet oh wow don’t insult my taste buds to tell me that lump of Aerated tasteless sponge could ever be classed as a chocolate brownie, no I’m Sorry it’s really no acceptable.

Ideal stop off after a nice walk in the park. Plenty of outdoor seating . We had about 12 people and 3 dogs in our party. Some had coffee some had alcohol. Everyone was satisfied. Well worth stopping by.

I have visited this carvery a few times and never been disappointed with the service or food - highly recommend.We were greeted with a warm welcome from a few members of staff who quickly seated us and once we placed our orders (within 15mins), we went to grab our food.Like any carvery, the cook carved and served us the meats (turkey, beef, chicken and gammon) whilst the vegetables/sides and sauces were self-served. The food although not piping hot, was warm-hot and tasty. Very filling and worth the price.

Went for a breakfast this morning. Was served by Rachael, she's lovely and very friendly. Asked for a hot chocolate and it made my day when she came over with it and it had a heart ❤ on it. It was only a little touch but it was so thoughtful. Thanks again.
