The goat curry was delicious. The service was ok, not too fussy, fairly attentive but a tad bit slow. We went for lunch so it wasn't that busy. We hadn't booked and when we asked for a table of 8, they seemed to be a bit flustered about how they'd get us seated together.

Food is fine. A little dark and dated the interior but it does the job. Gets very busy and service can be slow at times.Amend 15/2/22 - much brighter and better now.

Looking for Caribbean food in town? go to Jamaya's instead. Two Stars, purely because of our waiter, Dan.What a poor dining experience. We paid extra for the two hour brunch and when we arrived we could see it was busy. We sat down and after five minutes we made our food and drink order. Our first round of drinks arrived forty-five minutes later. Dan, after half an hour brought us over a bottle of prosecco, but we didn't even finish a glass of it.They were very clearly understaffed, because Dan did not stop moving for the two hours we were there. Before I knew it, he was having to give many other customers prosecco, because of the waiting times. I could then hear similar complaints of waiting times around us.When the cocktails finally arrived. Lovely and well made, but we had to put in a second order as the first arrived, out of fear of another forty five minute wait.We quickly saw that there was no value for money in our £35 pound a head brunch. The bar staff were completely overworked and it was clear that no one could keep up with a full restaurant. The manager whom was taking food to tables had to go to the bar to help out. I then watched my chicken sit under a heatlamp for 15 minutes. When the food arrived (an hour after ordering), the chicken was dry, rice was cold and the gravy had formed a skin on due to being cold. You can see in the pictures. At this point I was annoyed and past hungry, but Dan assured me he would have a replacement out to me in five minutes (it was). It definitely was cooked, but had not touch a grill at all. It lacked any kind of jerk seasoning or grilling. It was not worth moaning again at this point because there's nothing else they could do!My fiancé loved her prawn dish, but her fries were cold and calamari from the fish fry was barely cooked. You can see from the picture how bad my main was. The coleslaw looked dried out from the heat lamp too. However, the manager discounted our meal by 50% and although my dining experience was absolutely terrible, our waiter really did his best to work with us.I don't think I will ever go there again. Now there is a Caribbean restaurant (Jamaya, see my other reviews) less than a five minute walk away that produces much better quality Caribbean food, I just don't feel that Turtle Bay could tempt me to come back. The cocktails we had were nice when we got some, but in a two hour period we had four drinks and had to return food.If we were told at the door they were overwhelmed, I could've made the judgement and tempered my expectations, but that was not the case. The two stars are only because of our waiter who definitely deserves a some positive feedback because he was hard working under immense pressure (we also did tip him).

Saturday afternoon, bottomless brunch. Place was heaving, but service was quick and friendly. Great atmosphere, music a bit loud for me, but I'm getting on a bit now. Food was great and great range of cocktails. Will definitely be going back.

Went with my mum, boyfriend and boyfriends dad. We had some lovely food and drinks. Service was rather quick and smooth aswell, very pleasant. However was surprised by the service charge they put on the bill, thankfully it was optional so we were able to have it taken off. All in all a lovely experience.

·

Yida looked after us all at our xmas meal. Great service with a great vibe. Took my young three sons and they loved it too.Buy 1 get 1 free cocktails too 😋We will be going again very soon 👌

·

We went for the brunch with unlimited cocktails, amazing drinks! We got alot of bang for our buck and the waitress served us right until our time was up. The coffee cocktail is a bit sickly if you have more than one, One Love is definitely my favourite! The buttermilk chicken and mac and cheese are to die for and I absolutely love their dumplings... Do the brunch, I can't wait to go back!

·

This is a very nice place to eat out. The environment is cool and their cocktails are brilliant 👏 Our service lady was polite and food arrived quickly. I love the music too. Overall, I will definitely be visiting again.

·

Absolutely awful. The service was disgraceful. Cocktails tasted like mocktails. They advertise that if you don't like spice they will inform the chef. So myself and mother both asked for our starters not to be spicy for them to come out and be very spicy. Unfortuneatly we were going to a show so did not have the time to get things changed plus the waitresses weren't particularly helpful we just practically begged to make sure the main was not spicy.

·

Amazing food ! And our waitress was so helpful in helping me choose what to have to eat, as I was worried about the food being too spicy for me.. She gave some great recommendations! The 2 for 1 cocktails were lovely too.... I Recommend the coconut espresso martinis with rum. Will definitely be eating here again
