Yew Tree Fish Bar in Birmingham

This was my favourite chippy. But since my original reviw 3 years ago, it has changed hands again, and unfortunately, it's not the same standards and is no longer my favourite chippy.

Order on UberEats: Small Fresh Cod with Chips, Large Battered Sausage, 6 Chicken Nuggets, Peri Salt and Hot Chilli Dip.Ordered from here as I was fancying a chippy and had good reviews. I really enjoyed this! A big meal for me don't get me wrong but I can have leftovers too!It tastes incredible, the fish was lovely and tender with the chips, the battered sausage had the perfect crisp and the nuggets were tender and juicy! It was really something. Beat my expectations, my partner had been here before me and enjoyed the fish too, very good! 😊Thank you!

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered from here for 30 quid. Got a different order worth no more than 5 pounds. No answering calls or messages from either the shop or their driver. Money stolen

New owners lovely food could do with lowering the prices though they have gone right up

Food was tasty and hot...the establishment was clean and staff were polite...not alot of selection although I did go at 3.30pm so was quiet..probably more selection in the evenings, enjoy,x

You cant put an already cooked sausage in new batter and re- cook. Basic food hygiene/ management. So i did my research after being sold inedible food and this this place has been given 1 on food hygiene. Stay well clear

So far so good! I recently changed to this one and have been approx 5 times over last 5 months. Food has always been hot and I'm quiet impressed with their pies! The staff are friendly and don't seem put off by my loud children 😌. A little bit dearer than a closer local but definitely worth it.

Lovely food, was served by a lovely girl, though the man in charge snapped at her for absolutely no reason, I suggest he changes his attitude as this made my blood boil. Not good for customers to see and there was absolutely no need to speak to her like that, shop wasn't even busy so I couldn't even excuse him for stress. I will come back as long as I'm not served by that miserable man.

I visited the yew tree fish bar yesterday and i was so amazed with how well the staff completed my order, i had such a long order for them to do and they did not miss anything out!! The chips were soft and fluffy and the fish was absalutly amazing!! I would recommend people go there and try it for themself!! The chicken meat was lovely, had just the right spice to it. Even tho it was a Saturday night and they were really busy I was happy with the outcome.
