Valentines meal - Great service, staff very friendly and welcoming. Only 4 stars as the food temperature was too cool and took quite a while to reach the table. Overall a good meal though.

First time eating at the Barnt Green Inn and it was AMAZING! Such a stunning place, welcoming staff, we were so hungry and the food came quickly, so warm and great presentation. It smelt divine and tasted even better! I had the lamb, gorgeous! Everyone had clean plates and then we had to have pudding, I went for the tiramisu which ended the meal perfectly. It tasted delicious and a great portion size.Will 100% be coming back and would recommend, and pet friendly!!

Nice place to eat my mushy peas were very cold but got a new little pot right away with no hassle, really good waitress very busy at the time but she loved her words. Very professional and attentive. My mum ordered half a pint but was served a pint and only charged for the half... a nice touch

We had our Xmas lunch there 4 adults 3 children. The staff was excellent very very professional very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious we all loved it. We had a great time even without my wife who had to be taken to hospital that day and couldn't come they even took her Food off the bill that's very nice thing to do. Will be booking for next year without a doubt. Great job everyone 👏

The food was fine, the service was fine but I'm not sure how they can justify a £30 service charge. I won't be returning.*edit*With regards to your response. No I am not referring to Christmas day. If the service charge is optional, it would be nice for this to be made more clear to the customer. Adding it onto the bill definitely makes it seem like part of the altogether cost. I won't be returning as previously stated but after the tone of your reply, I only wish I could give your establishment zero stars. A shame because the staff that served us were helpful and pleasant. You do not come across as well as they did. My issue was the needless and extortionate service charge that is clearly taken by most customers as a necessity to pay. To now say it was optional is almost as insulting as the tone of your reply. Your staff would probably receive more tips if people didn't feel obliged to pay a set amount on top of your already high prices for standard food and drinks.

Great place to relax and eat. Had a tasty meal, good service and beautiful chrismassy surroundings...highly recommend a visit.

Visited the Barnt Green Inn on Fathers day 2021. Was a very busy evening. Fairly good service,there was an acceptable waiting time. Mains were ok but some of the meat items were a little on the dry side. But still ok. Desserts were great.
