For the type of pub you are going there for, it does a great job.The food is good value for what you get (and there is always a deal due to it being a hungry horse). The San Miguel is always fresh, but they could do with buying more glasses as drinking San Miguel from a different glass doesn't taste right. There is a sports bar/ over 18 section very small but out of the way. Then the rest of the pub is mainly for sitting down and eating. But drinking can be done in this section too, but this mainly at the front of the pub, as I would say towards the back of the pub is where you would go to come for a quiet meal, if that's what's your looking for.So for a cheap, family restaurant / pub it hits the nail on the head.Just don't go there looking for just a drinkers pub or just a restaurant pub as its somewhere in between.

Had lunch with my friend who's birthday it was, had a sharing starter of onion rings with three dips, I had chicken wrapped in bacon smothered in cheese, with chip's, peas and a couple of onion rings. My friend had gammon, chip's and peas. We both enjoyed our lunch very much.

Massive portions, good food and great prices. There is a section at the back of the pub which is for family / children which is really handy and outdoor play to keep them entertained.4 star as few items missing from menu / allowed to order but then did not have.

Staff were spot on, food was interesting. I had breakfast which consisted of the kabab on day and full breakfast the next..... they did forget the spicy beens and that's why they didn't get a 5 star......😁

We have been three or four times this week as we’re working away from home, we decided to try the place and to be honest we haven’t had a bad meal yet!The staff are really friendly, the food is exactly what you’d expect it to be and the place is clean.Overall we are happy and will continue to come throughout our stay in Bromsgrove 😊

Absolute disaster for us yesterday, burnt garlic bread and burgers, the kids had pizzas that were rock hard on the bottom and they didn't have one of our sides available, but no refund or alternative was offered, such a waste of a £55 family meal that didn't end up eaten😫

My new fave pub in bromsgrove. It’s like our second family. Sharon and her staff go beyond for all of us. My kids love it here. The best place for family’s. Foods good to 💋

It took far too long between our starter and main meal to be brought out to us, we almost left. The food itself was brilliant and when we voiced our concerns they were kind enough to get on it and sort it out. Will have to go again (it may have just been a bad time with staff).

My family and I regularly come here from kidderminster. We make the special journey as its our favourite please. We love the booths as they have a TV in where the kids can watch cbeebies/cbbc as well as play in the little children's area indoors. Did I mention there is an amazing playground outside too which my kids played on yesterday for the first time as the pub was empty. We love Tuesdays and Thursday offers. Yesterday the poor staff were abit rushed off there feet but they were still very apologetic. I love the sweet potato fries there! And thank god they sell a pint of coke. None of that only Pepsi excuses. The pub is forever selling out of the tomblorone cheesecake which is awful as its one of the best puddings on the menu 😄 But the cookie mania is a awesome second choice.Remember they have a big function room too for wedding and parties.Steffan is really friendly, great with children too. He once gave my daughter a pound for the horse game and at Christmas he gave our boys 2 remaining selection boxes from when santa came. No its not favouritism as he probably won't remember us. Car park is a nice size.

Friendly staff, lovely dishes, good for families, couples even single person. Servers dinners lunch and breakfast. Wide range of alcohol drinks and soft drinks. Toilet was quite clean, first time there so can't really fault it. Alright pricing for food. Also there was free car parking available.
