Sun Inn in Bromsgrove

Absolutely appalled waited over 2 years to come back to The Sun for a meal because of covid our favourite place to go and when we got there we got our drink then it was about an hour before they took our meal order. When it came my hubby was appalled at his chips they looked like they had been reheated and reheated again and a few where in half looked like they had come from someone else’s dinner. So sad as it was our favourite place for a meal and family gathering

Lovely place and large gardens always beautifully lit up. Staff greet you with a smile. Food delicious with a good selection on the menu. Would definitely recommend.

We ordered food and drink together , waited half an hour then asked where the drinks were, the waitress asked what we ordered then told us they didn’t sell one of the drinks and offered an alternative. 15 minutes pass and my husbands pint and an orange juice( which we didn’t order)arrived with our food,my granddaughter veg and mash was cold and we still didn’t have a drink,I then went to the bar to ask for a drink,by this time my granddaughter had finished her food so brought the drink home, my husband went to the bar to pay.was spoke to like he was at school ,She said that’s FAB ,what ever happened to please and thank-you please call again and recommend us, I don’t think so , we have gone hear for 10 years as we live local, due to your rude incompetent staff we will never return, The-pub trade has had a rough time the last few years and we like to eat out to support local establishments, we won’t be returning here.

Absolutely amazing visit!!!! Lovely food, thanks to amazing kitchen staff! Server was Matthew very helpful! Jack was the highlight of the day! Great with the kids, made my daughter who has autism and deaf have an amazing experience!!! Great visit will be back very soon!!

Meal was lovely and cooked to perfection. The staff was rushed of their feet but still remained polite and friendly. The surroundings was wonderful with a play area for kids. Pleasant experience and enjoyed my self.

Popped in today for a drink, but decided to stay for lunch. Glad we did, the roast beef was beautiful.Staff all very pleasant and welcoming. We'll be back again soon.

Nice pub atmosphere. Able to get a table when it was busy. Good food and service.

Friendly staff who went out of their way to make my Cairn Terrier welcome with water and treats. Food excellent and tasty and reasonably priced. Good selection of drinks. A very pleasant experience

Unfortunately, we could not book online so risked just turning up as a party of 9 with the chances we would not be able to get a table. The staff welcomed us and went out of there way to accommodate us. They rearranged furniture for our party of 9, constantly making sure that we were happy where we were seated and that everyone could get comfortably around the tables as we also had a baby in a high chair. The staff sanitised the table and presented us with menus and colouring activities for the children. Staff constantly made sure that we were topped up with drinks. Food was absolutely beautiful, all our food was delivered by polite staff that made sure our order was all correct and we had all the condiments that we needed. The children's food was perfect temperature so they could eat straight away with the adults. Nothing worse than hungry kids waiting for their food to cool down, hats off to the kitchen staff. The whole pub had a lovely atmosphere and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be returning. It's hard to find a nice local pub that not only serves excellent food but also has a lovely family atmosphere...this place ticks all the boxes. Thank you to all the staff for making our experience a very enjoyable one.
