This is a place i come alp of the time and have loved the food every time however since new ownership the food is beyond awful. I've just waited half an hour and paid £28 for 3 soggy baguettes, a panini and 3 watery milkshakes. The baguettes were soggy flavourless and the fillings hadn't been put into the baguettes properly and the sausage wasn't properly cooked. The panini instead of crispy is also soggy and the milkshakes are like water with no flavour whatsoever. Never been so disappinted with a breakfast in my life. I will NOT be returning again and i suggest others don't waste their time or money. Feel robbed to be honest can't believe i waited half an hour and was charged nearly £30

What an amazing family run cafe. The food is wonderful and great value for money and the owners and their family make you feel welcomed. We moved here in July and we visit the cafe now every week.

Had a great lunch here today. Tables with plenty of space outside and in and a good café menu with veggie options. Really friendly staff, too.

Fab friendly place, I had a blt to take out with millionaire shortbread mmmmTime for an update, Madhatters is under new ownership. They have changed the seating to much better looking and comfortable ones. We had a full English breakfast it was fab and a fair price. They have all the covid things in place 👍The staff are friendly and welcomingPs cake still good🤓

Quaint little place. The decor is a tad outraged and boring but they do have an upside down table on the ceiling with cutlery and crockery. Prices aren't too bad until you order the sarnies...1 piece of burnt, twice cooked bacon, well over cooked egg in medium bread so it was flimsy and fell apart, the tomato sauce was so vinegary that it left a horrible taste in the mouth and at £2.70 a bit of a rip off. For a drink we had a milkshake, now this was good and made with ice cream too. I personally wouldn't go there again unless if it was just for a quick cuppa with a friend and a chat but definitely NOT to eat.

I've been to Mad Tatters Cafe a number of times, and it's a truly great experience. The food is superb, the drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere and decor are lovely. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely brilliant service, I went in and brought a bacon sandwich and asked a time to come back in to get it as my daughter was asleep in the car. I was about to go back in and he was at my window, he had brought it out to me! I was very grateful!! Thank you so much
