Had a great meal once again this time in the restaurant rather than takeaway, staff helpful with explaining menu and difference between the dishes when questioned. Usual Cobra Kingfisher beers available with wine etc.

Food was ok but staff was not happy when we asked why paneer masala was so sweet and raita was off. Staff didn’t care and said next time I’ll make it different for you. We said.. next time? He didn’t care and nodded and walked away because he was having dinner with the rest of the staff. They should really work on customer service or at least pretend to try. Raita was off, paneer was super sweet, and chicken tandoori was dry.

Would've been 5 stars except our booking unbeknownst to us coincided with a 50th Birthday Party Booking for about 30 ladies and despite other tables being available, we were forced into a table directly adjoining the party. Conversation was impossible. To the servers credit, they rushed our orders through before the main party, but drinks refills were very slow and having asked for the bill, it took about 30 minutes to arrive.Having driven some distance to The New Dishad, despite very good food (even if not exactly piping hot) -the experience was disappointing. Had they warned us of the party or even sat us somewhere else, the evening would have been saved.

Great food and great service. Special mention for the very helpful member of staff who took my telephone order. She was extremely polite and nothing was too much trouble.

Another fabulous meal with a warm welcome. Brilliant service, wide choice to meet everyone's taste buds. Thank you for the complimentary brandies and Baileys.

·

Amazing food, particularly the lamb dishes - it melts in your mouth! Booths are very private and staff are lovely.

Used to get lovely food but last few have been disappointing. Chicken like rubber and loads of oil in my curry. Hopefully they improve on the next one as I'm loosing faith. Might give one more chance before I switch.
