The Packhorse in Bromsgrove

Took the family for lunch on Saturday 23rd April. Loads of parking available and the pub was fairly busy. Easy to order our meals ( 3 adults and 2 children) and drinks. Food came out reasonably quickly and the only fault was that I ordered gammon and pineapple but they substituted it with an egg as they had no pineapple. I do not eat eggs!Overall the food was well cooked, reasonable portion sizes and good value for money.

Booked a table for 8.00pm only to get a courtesy phone call at 7.20pm to let me know due to unforeseen circumstances the kitchen was actually closing at 8.00pm. Luckily we only live about 5 mins away so was able to get there straight away. Had a lovely meal of sausage and mash. Already booked for Sunday lunch also

I had the mixed grill meant to come with seasoned chips they wasn’t but they were undercooked the fried egg was overdone rock hard yoke mushrooms were missing the meat was nice. The pizza from order was way overdone rock hard. chips on all meals undercooked. Looking at other reviews similar problems quite often maybe management need to look into new kitchen staff or training for current staff rather than just replying to reviews asking for people to call them to sort problems.

Was very quiet so that was nice, the staff were lovely. The food wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either. I'd go again but wouldn't go out my way to visit

I've been here 2 weeks running and had different things, the food tastes lovely and piping hot. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Good food at a good price. Steaks very popular here with sizzlers been the main choice. But lasagne is also very good too. Special offers include 2 meals for £9.50 after 12 . Nice location here too I can imagine it been fantastic in the summer.. Good value and plenty of parking spaces good for families as well as couples. I'd go again

The food is really good, friendly staff & nice atmosphere

Bit hit and miss, lovely staff, food,what we could order was good.But, using the app to order at table, a lot of stuff not available..but if you went to the bar it was !?Also cocktails, no garnishment,mint for mojito !/straws and served in beaker type glasses, not good ! It was cheap and cheerful x
