The Talbot in Bromsgrove

Came here for my mom's birthday on Saturday. The staff was fantastic. When booking online I said it was my mom's birthday and they gave us a lovely table! I have to say it was the best meal I've had for a long time! Absolutely delicious. All I can say is 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you you for making it such a memorable occasion.

Went to The Talbot for a surprise Mother’s Day breakfast with my daughters. It was so good with Excellent food and service from the staff with a good choice. At the end of the meal I was presented with an orchid and wished a happy Mother’s Day from the team. It was such a lovely gesture and very thoughtful. Every mom there had that special surprise. Huge thanks for making my day and for the lovely thought of the orchid.

Awful Mother’s Day experience. We sat in the drafty doorway next to the host stand and listened to other people being offered a selection of nice tables and even being wished happy Mother’s Day. We were only offered one drink in an hour which I’d finished before the breakfast came and on top of that the food was very average. I would have been annoyed on a normal Sunday but this was Mother’s Day…really poor and it ruined my day.

We went for a 40th Birthday last night and the service was excellent. The waitresses and waitors were fantastic, really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One of them even swapped a chair and got a cushion for my 7 year old who was struggling to reach the table. Well done for such excellent customer service.

MOM & DADS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!The Talbot is a lovely pub that welcomes everyone! We had a fabulous afternoon for Sunday Lunch. The roast beef dinner was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of vegetables and cauliflower cheese. Not forgetting the red wine! The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble from them. Always a great choice and highly recommend this place! Thank you for looking after us!! See you again soon x.

We have had a few meals here, every time it's very tasty.The chateaubriand was delicious and the sauces were just right.Next visit we had tapas dishes, 3 for a discount from individually prices. 3 of the 4 guests had that. Very filling and nice food.Will definitely again and again.

Absolutely amazing. The food was exquisite and the waiter was very pleasant. I will definitely be going back. I had the steak burger and a diet coke for my main and the double chocolate brownie for desert.I definitely recommend to everyone.

Went here for my wife's birthday and had a lovely meal. Think they have really improved the menu since last time we visited a few years back. The service is good and they have their own parking ground over the road which always helps.

Very nice place, understated and relaxed but the food was top notch. Small but very good menu. Not cheap but the quality of the food reflects that. Not your usual pub food.
