Always had an awesome time here right up to know my cousin runs the place 😀 Great food, great atmosphere

Fantastic as it was two years ago when I last visited. Saturday afternoon in the sun, had lunch. Very tasty, absolutely loved the faggots sandwich. Very reasonably priced and lovely chatty staff. Proper pub. Well kept beer, absolutely lovely, a fantastic variety of lovely ales, all £3.xx, which made it all even better.

Wish I had only popped in only for the more than excellent ale. The lunch menu is uninspiring with theme based on cheese. Naively I picked the cheese and ham sandwich. Half a pound of supermarket something with a slither of ham between half a loaf of fresh white bread.Service is very friendly and the pub very clean.

Nice friendly well-stocked pub. In a nice spot with well kept tasty ales, etc.

Such a nice canal side pub, I didn't eat here myself but the food looked good as I walked to the bar and the real ale selection was great.I had a local cider and it was delicious.The staff were very welcoming.I will definitely be back soon.

Nice pub . Car park entrance is the canal boat and drive round to the pub . Staff are friendly and helpful Four ales on good choice. Food available today cobs sandwiches crisps and salad. Bonus in one room lady were on a knitting bee

Smashing little pub with great choice of drinks including GF options. Food is hearty and well cooked. Landlord is very friendly and keeps a good bar. Morris dancer friendly.

As my local I would appear biased but you want a sincere old country pub with wonderful friendly staff and freshly made food ..great ales and ciders with a fabulous location on the marina then look no further than the weighbridge..best pub in Alvechurch and best pub in the area

Fabulous brought our eldest son & fiancee to celebrate their engagementHe has worked for marina before which he loved there & the do beautiful food here pizza are amazing & freshWill be sad to see the owners leaving in October but wish them well on their retirement & im sure we will see them again before they leave
