Chips was rock hard and cut me gum the curry sauce was like water the battered sausage tasted foul and the batter fell off it and the safely was that hard could walk it off me plate couldn't even chew it never again used this for quickness instead of me other chippy never again

Have always been a regular to this cafe. I've always ordered from here. The prices are amazing, food is delicious and friendly drivers and the delivery times are always super early and bang on.I've been ordering from here for years (also I lived right by here) the veggie breakfasts are amazing and the sandwiches, the jacket potatoes the chips are amazing. My husband and I love the food. Never get an order wrong in all the times we ordered and the delivery time is always earlier than expected!I'd recommend to anyone, best cafe in UK in my opinion.

It was my first time and it was great,,the owner was very polite great chips which I haven't had for a long time and the fish was cooked fresh was lovely will defo be going back

Ordered directly over the phone instead of using just eat. We had large cod chips and side salad.Nice crispy batter and tasty cod. Fish was huge and very well cooked.Nice and hot on arrival.Would recommend.

The most marvellous chips! Friendly staff, clean premises and of course, fantastic food! If you really want a treat, the chips are heavenly... if not for the waistline! Very reasonable prices too, so what's not to like? Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and clean place. It's good that you don't get charged extra for eating in the cafe, but we took ours home. I didn't like the chips, they didn't taste freshly cooked and were overly greasy. We were not given a choice of plain or battered chips and there was no warning that they were battered. Chicken nuggets were tasty, but didn't look like proper chicken. Mini fish was a bit dry, but edible, I've tasted much better. 3 stars because the staff were friendly, but food is only worth 2 stars at most. Sorry, I won't be visiting this chip shop again.

Visited the Bridgtown chippy/silly sausage cafe numerous times ond also ordered for delivery by phone...and I must say that I have always had great service and great value food cooked spot on...if you're passing Bridgtown on the A5 or local to Bridgtown get yourself round to the silly sausage for a great meal 🍽😎
