Georgios in Cannock Chase

Visited for the first time last night as a party of four. Front of house staff were superb and explained how all food is freshly cooked and if the portions beat us then they provided take away containers so you can still enjoy the food later on.So first visit but 100% not the last.Great, staff, great menu, great food, great atmosphere, great venue.Loved it, give it a try Im sure you will not be disapointed

Well the food is cooked fresh from the grill, the customer service is great and fast. We have been once before and the food was amazing then, we came again on Sunday night and we can't fault anything. We were asked if we wanted/needed anything and how the food was frequently.

Fantastic food and service, felt very welcome from the moment you went in. Everything on the menu was explained to us.The food was brilliant, very tasty, great portion sizes and even allowed us to take a doggy bag home.

First visit to Georgio’s in Cannock tonight, but definitely won’t be the last. The food is fabulous, so tasty and cooked fresh. The portions are generous. The staff are friendly & helpful and the restaurant is lovely.

Awful! Only ones eating, always a concern. We had 3 £34 meze’s, granted you get a selection of starters but 1 prawn, 1 mussel, 1 frozen crab claw, 1 hard meatball etc… the mains beef/chicken/fish all spicy hot like a madras not what a stifado etc should be. Chicken gyro/kebab £16 and disappointing. 4 drinks avg £20.Family of 4 with 2 drinks each £200 avg, but more like a bad Indian than a Greek restaurant, not surprised it’s always empty. Sent a lot more back than we ate!

Fabulous food and service when we had a large table for a birthday celebration. They want the guests to be happy. Relaxed and efficient staff.

Loved going to Georgio's tonight. They made my birthday feel extra special. Food was lovely and the staff made us feel very welcome, they are all super attentive. I can't wait to go again.

Food is first class, reminds me so much of Greek Holidays, such good food when am working away from home, would go 7 Days a week but alas closed Monday and Tuesday. Owner is perfect host, staff not let you go long without giving attention. The odd complimentary glass of ouzo goes down a treat…. All should enjoy this family run restaurant.

JUST DON'T GO THERE! Food 1hour 10mins late at lunchtime. Seriously didn't care about ALLERGIES, treating Vegetarian like 2nd Class dinners. Food was that late we had to ask to return after the days conference to eat our mains which had not shown up.On return that evening. Again another wait for over 1 hour for food. The ordered food, set menu, get swapped out without any communication. When challenged for ingredients and handwriten list on scrap paper shows up.Manage shouting at my guests about food order over dinner table, belittle has young waitresses in front of us. Seriously worse experience ever! Manager said it was all "made fresh" again not true, rice was frozen with frozen peas and carrot, teaste bland. . Ended up not eating anything.Felt really sorry for the waitresses, as we were saying "dont let him talk to you like that" they were trying to hold back the tears. Seriously never again.
