At last! I seemed to have found a good descent fish and chip shop! Its a little further travel but well worth it.... No more small portions or over cooked food for us trocadero! We'll spend our money at this place from now on!

Only came across this place when our 'regular' Fish and Chip shop was operating on reduced opening over the festive period. Reasonable priced. The chip portion could feed 3 or 4 easily. Battered chips some of the best, not your heavily orange food dye but good batter.

Chips.like they have been out all day and re fried cold curry sauce and roe that tastes off 1st time going there and last not a good experience at all

I have tried the Cod and chips and the Southern fried chicken with battered chips. I can honestly say they are delicious. Good portions and fresh and well cooked. The staff are great and the place is very clean which is important. We'll done guys

Friendly staff and great food, portions are huge and the battered chips are great. Mixed meat kebab meat and chips is a belly buster! My number one chip shop, highly recommended.

This chip shop has been under new ownership for several months now. Before I used to use a chip shop a few miles away, but that's not the case anymore. Everything Heath Hayes chip shop offers is wonderful, from the classic fish and chips (plain or battered) to the owners home cooked curries, which are out of this world. You may find you have a slight wait, as they are always cooking fresh up.I cant recommend this place enough!

Small chippy but food was excellent,lovely chips and a great pie covered in great curry sauce, good portion sizes, not to big & very friendly staff. Definitely another visit on the cards when I'm in the area.
