Leon in Cannock Chase

Just had our dinner here half way through a long journey. This is one of the best fast food outlets I've ever been to. The food was restaurant quality and it has the friendliest and nicest staff I've ever experienced at a services!

Lovely services with clean toilets and a good selection of shops/restaurants. Nice seating area outside too.

Waited 20 mins while the staff jumped on each other in the kitchens. No one wore gloves throwing the buns into the toaster. Poor hygiene. Poor standards. The front of house just kept asking for the orders again and again. No apologies. I've been here before with a massive wait but this was appalling. I won't bother coming here. Burger was cold when it arrived too. Appalling.

Hmm …we used to look forward to visiting Leon as part of our travelling experience. It just wasn’t the same this time. The aioli chicken tasted like pork, and there wasn’t enough of it (mostly just brown rice). Sorry to say it felt very overpriced for what we got (£17 chicken/rice, Korean burger, one coffee).

Thanks to Gemma for helping me find a low cal alternative tonight shortly before closing. (My 2 top dishes were sold out.) Great friendly service and the food was just what I needed.

Brazilian black bean, that was left standing for so long the rice had hardened off. Cheese sauce, like dish water. Do not eat here. Food tasted like road grit. You have been warned.

What a great motorway M6 service startion. Spotlessly clean. Huge. Great food options. ShopsSeating pods inside. Fountains and outside tables.

Had a big breakfast box for £5.59. Beats McDonald's. 2 eggs, a nice sausage, bacon(more like thick cut ham), beans, mushrooms and halloumi. Good stuff. Quick. The venue could use some signage to indicate where to order, queue up and collect from. Overall good stuff. Friendly staff.

I was on the hunt for something healthy at the services and found this place.It was refreshing to get something healthy and light I ordered the halloumi & avocado muffin and a bacon & egg muffin with a tropical smoothie. The food was really good it had a home made feel to it. The staff had a great energy, which made you feel really welcome.It was really quite when I ordered only one other person was waiting, so my food arrived very quickly. I can potentially see an issue during busy times collecting your order as they just shout out when your order is ready, maybe they need a numbering system.

Excellent place for breakfast! Definitely the best I’ve had in any motorway stop anywhere. Super friendly, chatty staff and a wide range of freshly made options, which they’ll happily customise for you. Their prices are really reasonable too. Amidst the usual quagmire of greasy services food outlets, with questionable ethics, serving up processed gunk that I refuse to go to, Leon is a much-needed breath of fresh air. Finally a motorway stop I can actually eat at. Even their coffee is better than Costa et al. We’ve stopped here a couple of times now and will continue to do so every time we’re on our way up north.
