Missoula in Cannock Chase

By far the best pub I've been to in years... polite and friendly staff, food was incredible and the value for money was spot on... i would 100% recommend trying it you won't regret it!

Went today for Sunday lunch, there were six of us, well what can I say, the food was amazing, we all had the beef, and it was so tender and tasteful, roast potatoes to die for, we ordered extra, unfortunately, I don't eat vegetables but I asked for a portion of peas which was delivered, the staff were all pleasant and attentive, the whole experience was awesome, we shall definitely return and highly recommend, thank you

I have to say I've been going here for years but it's slowly dying ,it's always been exceptional with the home made bread In plant pots to the amazing freshly made food.Desserts were home made and yummy .But now you get no home cooked bread and food is good but not amazing ,but the desserts OMGWhat a disappointment .Awful ,I had trifle that was completely bland ,wishy washy .I bought this to the attention of the waitress who said "I know we have given the chef feedback but " then shrugged .she was clearly bothered but no one was listening .Feedback makes a business .She offered me an alternative ,I chose the waffle with cherries . shop bought waffle with cherries poured over (also very tasteless ) I left it and we paid and left .Time to seek a new diamond ,shame it used to be amazing

Fantastic staff , so attentive friendly , professional 👏 Great food , reasonably priced. It's a long time since we've been so impressed with a restaurant/ pub . 10/10

Celebrated my Fathers 80th birthday here and had a lovely night. The food was so good and the staff were so kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic meal. Will definately be returning. Food was full of flavour and very filling. Staff were all very polite and courteous. Well done all at The Rag. Would most definitely recommend

What an amazing find. Went in there with a colleague on the off chance for some food after work. We both had the fish, chips and curry sauce. It was the best curry sauce I've ever tasted, none of the chip shop curry sauce you normally get. All in all a really nice meal nice staff 5*. And washed it down with a nice pint of Butty Bach.

Chose to come here for my birthday meal after reading the reviews and I have to say I agree, the food is fantastic and by far the best meal out we have had in Cannock! The staff are predominantly young but are a credit to themselves and The Rag, extremely professional, presentable and courteous, will be visiting again!
