"Welcome to the king of locals. The Samson Blewitt in Hednesford, Cannock, has everyone covered for food, drink and entertainment. We’re a proper community pub with lots going on, from fundraisers to live music and disco nights. A party pub with craft beers, lagers, bourbon, fizz, cocktails and bombs behind the bar. A pub you can bring the whole family to for Sunday lunch or your other half for a steak and a nice bottle of Fair Trade wine. A pub with beer gardens front and back, plus a nice children’s play area. And a sporty kind of pub with pool and darts that shows all the big matches on BT and Sky Sports. Everyone’s welcome, including the dog. We’ve got that friendly atmosphere and lively buzz that’s unique to local pubs."

Well I popped in yesterday with my mum, as I'd heard good reviews about the food..The bar staff were lovely. I've known Lee for a few years, and he was as pleasant as ever..(thank you x) but I have to say, the food is amazing! Mum had a classic burger, I obviously went for the rump steak.. cooked to perfection best I've had anywhere, for quite some time. Prices are really good for the quality of food provided. So big thumbs up from me. Absolutely gorgeous!

Used the website to book a table which was quick & easy to use. Nice clean pub, our table was ready & waiting for us. Staff were friendly & approachable. Food arrived within a good wait time & was hot & delicious. Overall an excellent dining experience & we will defiantly be visiting again soon.

Great community pub with standard drinks on pull. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is warm. Food is basic but tasty. Tables are reserved most of the time, including one that was reserved whilst we were actually sitting at it!! Luckily we only wanted drinks but could have cause a problem if we were to eat? SURELY, you cant reserve a table whist people are already on it.
