The Park Gate Inn in Cannock Chase

Nice clean pub and friendly staff.

Bar staff really nice and friendly. Wide selection of drinks as you would hope and ale tastes well looked after. Lovely little area out back for young children however couldn't give 5 stars as playing apparatus for children is a little tired and needs a bit of maintenance. Otherwise a very pleasant place

Much better now under new management!! A good selection behind the bar and a great dog friendly village pub!! Lovely in the summer for a cold pint after a walk on Cannock Chase or by the log fire in the bar when its cold - Now, our "local".

Pleasant and clean with large garden. Food offering was limited to rolls due to kitchen refurbishment

Pop in every now and again after walking the dogs around Castle Ring. Doesn't serve any food but my husband likes the ales. Children's park is not only an eyesore but I would say not fit for purpose. I hope they change it.

Very welcoming hostess, good food pasties and chocolate cake delicious. Only a small lunch menu at present but included rolls, sausage rolls, pasties and a variety of home made cakes. Kitchen will be up and running soon. Lovely log burner pub was warm and homely.

The landlord is doing a good job in bringing the pub back to life. Needs major investment in parts but certainly another pub to consider.
