The staff were friendly and the food was fresh and delicious.

Service great, no complaints. Maybe it was the hour we came (6.45pm) and it was some kind of switchover, but the food wasn't brilliantly fresh. Weird Yorkshires, and a few things not particularly well replenished, and they didn't seem to have spares behind.

Very good carvery & nice staff. Many customers a bit rough and ready wearing jogging bottoms and t-shirts. Not the type of place you get dressed up to go out too. But if that works for you go and enjoy.

Staff helpful and polite. Catered for my wife's dietary requirements. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. I found the gammon and beef very fatty. The stuffing was rock hard, most of veg etc had obviously been under the heat for a long time and gone 'crusty'. Mostly inedible I'm afraid. My wife's turkey was OK she said.

Super delicious food, every type of meat was succulent and full of flavour, the vast choice of vegetables was excellent. Despite us only finishing our main course just a few minutes before end of service the waitress still very kindly served us dessert. It was a lovely experience and evening all round.

Experience was great. We were a group of four in the afternoon for the carvery. We went twice in one week. On the first visit 18th Jan and next visit on 20th Jan. I asked a server on the first visit (Lisa) and I said we are coming back in two days time and with my elderly mother who will only eat beans Yorkshire pudding and toast. Thinking nothing will come of it. She came back to me and said she had spoken to the kitchen staff and said they would do it. Lisa remembered us on the second visit. And she exceed normal expectations to make our stay fantastic. All the food was great on the day and we will be going back again. Well done kitchen staff and server Lisa and second visit Georgia.

The service here is friendly and quick. The food is fresh and very tasty. They have a wide range of veg to offer and the roast potatoes are beautiful!! I would recommend going here for a good hearty meal.

Nice greeting, excellent staff. Nice and clean. Good decor, background music at a nice low volume. Food was delicious. The lamb and beef were roasted to perfection. Veggies and potatoes etc were absolutely spot on, the cauliflower cheese is wonderful.Slightly more expensive than our usual Toby at Trentham but that maybe because it's so near Xmas.Overall, absolutely wonderful meal.Thank you, we will be back.

This is still a go to place for your carvery needs. The hospitality is excellent and staff are attentive and friendly. The environment and ambience is calm and warm with soft chairs and clean wood tables. Food-wise the queue for the carvery station was non-exsistant (obviously time of day dependent) and the chef was very happy. Portion sizes were average with more turkey given than other meats. The turkey had been out for a while as it was somewhat dry and had medium amounts of seasoning. (A bit more salt and maybe pepper). The pork was very tender and melted in the mouth and the apple glaze was exquisite (a good mix). I had a bowl of pigs in blankets as an extra and they were cooked well with backed bacon strips (could of been served with a sauce pot?). Meat on average was very nice to eat and taste. The vegetables on the other hand was a bit of a different experience. The roast potatoes were well cooked, they were crispy on the outside with a seasoned skin, and soft on the inside and very easy to eat. However there were a mixture of normal cooked and burnt potatoes in the dish. The peas were unfortunately overcooked and somewhat hard to the teeth however they tasted nice. The next item, being my favourite item in the carvery section, being the Mac and Cheese. The pasta to cheese sauce mix has always been spot on, and the seasoning of paprika and salt in in the spot. However some of the pasta had been neglected at the bottom of the pan and was significantly overcooked. However the pasta was excellent. Finally the cauliflower cheese. This dish contained mixtures of cooked, undercooked and overcooked florets. However a good mixture of seasoning and and cheese sauce.Overall I would return to this establishment to eat a carvery again. They could be better, but they are little baby steps left to becoming a good food provider\restaurant.

What can I say.....Fantastic food and Staff that are always helpful and welcoming. When it is a birthday, we always book and go for a family meal and have done this for over 5 years now. They are very accomodating allowing us to sort out decorations beforehand. They will look after cake and when it gets to that time, a nod of the head and they will light candles and bring it out and get the happy birthday song rolling. Must also acknowledge the chef and kitchen staff as the food never disappoints.
