Absolutely shocking. Half the things on the menu are unavailable. Ordered our meals delivery didn’t take too long. Food was horrid. Chicken was OKAY. Chips were soggy and soft. I could have cooked better chips myself. The halloumi was salty like REDICULOUSLY salty. Tried to phone them yep 13 times don’t seem to want to answer, they can’t be too busy if the foods this bad, so I’ve been forced to write a bad review if they would have picked up the phone this could have been resolved.

Beautiful place, could do with louder music, very polite staff, the jerk needs to be more hot and herbal

Excellent find. A very quirky building and beautifully converted. The staff are so helpful and very friendly. Food is excellent and very different to a normal restaurant, which makes it so special. Can definitely recommend the sharing platters, go with a healthy appetite. Will be back.

Great meal here. Burger was very tasty and my wife's ribs were huge. Cocktails were good and the desserts were great. Probably the best banoffee pie I have ever eaten. I initially though it was a bit small but it was so rich and tasty I couldn't have eaten more. Staff were helpful and attentive and overall this was by far the best meal I have eaten in cannock.

Great food and very friendly staff. Food portion was great and quality of food was good. Only improvement I would recommend about the food I ordered (Caribbean Twist - see picture below) was, that the dumpling was quite tough and hard to bite into and chew. However, the muytin was nice and soft and tender. The food was so good i even orderd some more to take away! Service was superb so I would definitely recommend!

Great quirky venue with amazing food and friendly, helpful staff. We went for our Christmas works outing and we were not disappointed! If you like beautifully cooked well flavoured food you're in for a real treat 😋

It's a nice quaint place to eat. Very small but good overall. Needs more presence in regards to advertising It's location as it could be easily overlooked. Keep up the good work guys. Maybe try more subtle lights as it is a little bright 🌞

Lovely staff, great food. Nice and welcoming. Only downside was food served on pieces of slate and rice in a side bowl, not plates so juices ran off and rice felt like a separate meal. Great cocktails, and fairly priced. Will definitely visit again.

Staying in Staffordshire for a week and decided to dine in Holy Smoke based on the good reviews. We ordered jerk chicken, Caribbean curry, sirloin steak, bbq ribs and raspberry mojito.Raspberry mojito was probably the worst I ever had, definitely not worth £6 each (2 for £12 offer).Steak was a big let down. We asked for medium rare but please look at the attached photo, it was so well cooked and dried. The flavour of beef was good but the chef had ruined it. I told the waitress but didn't ask to change it as we had waited the food for 30mins (it was only 515pm) and my kids were hungry.Caribbean curry was tasteless, nothing special at all.Jerk chicken and bbq ribs were very nice so they deserved a star each.Service was okay, just don't understand why they need so many staff for such a small restaurant.Food is not cheap there and I would expect to have better quality of food and service.

Came here with a small group of friends a few weeks back, and all I can say is the place is amazing. We were shown straight to our table, which seeing as there was only 6 of us was more than enough space. They have great deals on cocktails, having a 2 for 1 offer multiple times a day. For starters I ordered the habinero chilli prawns and my girlfriend the pork belly bites. Both were extremely good, I was expecting the prawns to be much much hotter but to my relief they were very enjoyable. For mains I got the sirloin steak and she got the caribbean curry. Then for desert, I got the key lime cheesecake and she the jaffacake brownie. Really enjoyed our experience there and would definitely recommend it.
