Asda Supercentre in Coventry

Great superstore some really helpful friendly staff there.

Nice store, clean and tidy, very polite staff only issue was it was difficult to get to second floor the lift wasn't working properly so had to go round using the escalator which took a bit of time.Café on site, public toilets available and loads of free parking for customers. Fuel station as you approach the main store.

I would like to thank Jo who was working outside on the trolleys on Sunday afternoon. He helped me transfer some bags of heavy garden slate into my car. Being a woman of a certain age he was polite, considerate and extremely helpful. Thanks Jo.

Very poor customer service from George at the customer return desk. Got very upset as I asked the price of any item more than once which I was returning. Although I was wrong in misinterpreting the price of an item, there was no need for a George to speak to me as I was a useless illiterate person. I was very hurt by the way she spoke to me. Never experienced this situation in my entire time at Walsgrave Asda and I have been shopping for the past 6years. In fact even after moving away from Coventry I prefer to come here as all other staff are very good.

Staff shortage meant that a lot of time was spent waiting in queues. Too much time wasted doing absolutely nothing.

A giant store that generally has everything we are looking for. Their new sushi section has a good selection that is yet to disappoint us. I have to lower the rating slightly thoigh because we almost always have issues with the self checkout that we wouldn't have at Tesco or Morrisons.

Nice cafe at Asda Walsgrave cheaper than McDonald's Kids eat free some days.

Generally a good shop. But the lack of customer care seemed concerning to me today. I have bad knees and knew I was going to be choosing heavy stuff so wanted a trolley but because it was 15 mins before closing I for some reason wasn't allowed and after trying to talk to the security guy he just didn't seem to be listening to what I said. My knees hurt a lot right now. I know it might be close to closing but customers still might have a reason they want a trolley - like for support.

Great store. Lots of items. The pictures frames are the cheapest I can find for 10x8 and 8x6 (school photos), so managed to make a good start on my picture wall. £2.50, £3.00, £3.50 for good quality frames.

Plenty of items with lot of options and also discounts and enough parking and with a proper bus route.
