Excellent food. Brilliant service. Will visit again

The food was really tasty but the staff were a bit rude.

Unfortunately we won’t be returning. Drink order was taken and served pretty fast however fizzy drinks where flat, food order was then taken but we then had to wait near 55 minutes for the food to arrive at the tablet witch is a joke when it did arrive it was at best luke warm and wrong Portion sizers where good though It seems however takeaway orders are more important. Would be given one star however the lady serving in there was helpful and friendly.

The staff were very friendly, the food was tasty, the beer was cold and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

We had bookd a table last minute after plans to go out for a friend birthday fell through. We booked online and recieved a confirmation to confirm our table was booked for 8 o'clock which we were relieved about. When we got there we were met by disappoint when the restaurant rudely said they didn't want us there. Understand this was a last minute booking but don't except a booking unless you have a table and can accomate them. Will never go back ever again. Was the rudest welcome ever.

Without doubt the best Indian restaurant in Coventry, never had a bad meal, extensive varied menu and they'll even come up with a bespoke dish if you can't make your mind up !

Once again another delicious 😋meal, whether it's delivered to my house or I collect I always get treated so well the staff are so friendly and the food is always hot and tasty xx

We live very close to Bengal delight but over 30 years I've only been there 3 times. A recent visit reminded us of why.On the day we attended there were only 3 other guests but despite that the food took ages to come out. Oddly, the other guests were served before us despite our order being taken first. We'll give them the benefit of doubt on this though.When the food came out there were missing items which is unacceptable considering there were only 3 other guests to attend.When the food was served, 2 of our curries were served on a plate rather than a proper pot/bowl. If I wanted a plate I'd have gone for home delivery.Anyway, was the food worth the wait? Highly debatable! The chicken tikka masala was overly sweet to the extent it was sickening. It was more a paste than a curry. We couldn't finish this dish. We then had a mix meat, fish, chicken curry which was advertised as very hot. To be fair, the taste was decent but it was far from hot. Instead, it was actually very mild. The sea bass dish was actually quite nice.All in all, me and my family were far from impressed with the general service or the quality of the food. There are far better Indians in Coventry and many within a stones throw of Bengal Delight. I hope this review is taken as genuine feedback rather than criticism.

The food at Bengal Delight is always great! So much choice and flavour. The service on NYE was a slight let down. We were there 40 mins before we were asked what starters we wanted. We had popadoms to keep us entertained for a while but even so, 40 minutes is a long time.
