Bird in Hand in Coventry

Never mind bird in hand I had a pint in mine and it was lovely

Nice friendly pub just popped in for one on passing very welcoming

Popped in with the kids for a drink and they loved playing in the lil play area they have in the garden

It's a nice little pub with an old pub feel and they do special events like free pool and music on Tuesdays

Dropped in for the sunday dinner which was excellent. Very helpful landlord and staff

Play pool and music here. Beers were pricier but no complaints when they have the footy on cable. Not a place for craft beers or real ale but was pleased they had a pint of mild on draught.

I have recently been going into this pub for the last few weeks while I'm staying in coventry, from day one all the regulars and bar staff and the landlord and landlady have been really nice and welcoming towards me,When I go back home I will miss this place so I will have to make a couple of journeys back over to see everyone.

Sunday dinner was delicious! Chef and waitress were lovely! Food was served quickly and was superb! Chef came and asked how all the food was, very nice touch! Would come back in an instant!Bar staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming which was a shame compared to the catering.

Came down from Scotland but they wouldn't accept my Scottish £20 note, thought these days were gone. If it wasn't for a kind customer exchanging my money we would have had to leave without a drink. Won't be back.

Quite local pub if you fancy a few beers. Monday is bingo night. 2nd and 4th Thursday of each night is quiz night good fun.
