Absolutely poor ... waiting over an hour and a half for food! No apology from staff when after 2 hours we asked for refund even said we had had our order! Won't be returning anytime soon , shame really as this is normally a really good place and has good facilities for children

Donkeys out back, little play park tonnes of outdoor seating lovely cider, not many veggie options for me and staff spent ages lookibg for our table but there was food service outside.

Went today after a long absence, for Sunday carvery...Can't serve yourself anymore...Server very slow plating up, consequently, food warm, not hot.Beef tough. My partner ordered beef and turkey, he didn't even get beef just turkey! But didn't want to complain. On the whole, very dissapointing. Will not be returning.

Birthday breakfast at the Bull and Butcher . I can’t say enough good about this pub . Friendly staff and customers . Fantastic food and drinks .. best pub for miles.

Have had a few meals here. All have been really tasty and well cooked. Staff are really friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience

Went in after having food in the red lion, walk through the door and the whole place stopped and looked at us like we had two heads. Not a welcoming pub at all.People don’t move out your way when you want to go to the toilet really got the feeling we weren’t welcome.Proper country bumpkin pub, if you want a better welcome go to the red lion or Russia!!

Went there on 25th January for their Burns Night and was not disappointed.Food was excellent, well presented by friendly staff.Really good value for money with a Scottish piper, piping in and addressing the haggis and played the pipes afterwards.Great atmosphere in a genuine local country pub.Well done to staff and management at The Bull & Butcher.

Just had a lovely meal here after being recommended by a friendBooked a table for 5 for dad’s birthday 4 of us had the carvery lovely selection of both meat and vegetables, dad had the fish cake which he really enjoyed, staff friendly and attentive but not overly, paid the bill and then decided we would have another drink, they were quite happy for us to stay at the table, all in all great meal and lovely atmosphere will definitely be back.

Had a great Christmas Day dinner with my mother. The staff were very welcoming and very attentive to our needs. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Even had cranberry jelly for the turkey. Well done B&B!

Fabulous food and a great view.High quality, fresh food has always been thus pubs forte, but it's location and views from the back terrace are nothing short of spectacular.I'd like to see the carvery back to self selection, rather than a plated meal, but it tqsted amazing in any case. An extensive menu, all of which is well done.Definitely worth a visit, we use it often. Best eatery pub in the area.
