Amazing Chippy, lovely staff, food fantastic. Wide variety of menu. Best Chippy by far.

This is the only chippy we order from. We've never had any issues with anything. The food is always delicious and fresh and they go out of their way to keep customers happy and satisfied; Nothing is ever missing from our order.We ordered last night and we were given estimated delivery time 95 minutes ( we don't mind waiting because we know it's worth it). The food was here in 30 minutes, perfect as always. Really happy with this place

Placed order on-line for delivery ASAP. Order goes through with payment & then it tells you 95 minute wait. Arrived just over an hour later by a friendly nice delivery guy. Lovely bag & individual boxes for each order. I had asked for plenty of salt & vinegar but didn't taste any. The fish had no taste to it at all & the batter was over crispy. The chips were proper chips & not just end bits but I prefer my chips a bit squashed after being wrapped in paper & you didn't get this. The food was hot. I found it a little over priced, probably to cover the cost of the nice bag & boxes. I had heard great reviews about Charlies Plaice but got to admit I won't go again & I prefer Barras or Mega chippy.

Waited over 2 hours for the food, called the chippy 3 times. Was told the food was on its way on the 2nd call, 25 minutes later on the 3rd call was told that the food is still waiting to be collected by the driver. Food turns up 2 minutes after the call so the food was already with the driver, arrived stone cold and dry cause it had been left for so long. Will not be ordering again!! Awful service

We live in Binley - Charlies Plaice is absolutely the best chippy in Cov. Wouldn't go anywhere else !Love our Friday night fish supper, delivered - thanks guys

Foods good but it seems like there is more concern with the home deliveries, half hour to serve 5 people the other night

Hands down, this is the best chippy, period! I've been going here since I was a kid. The staff are friendly, the prices are really good and the quality of the food is brilliant! Soo good in fact I don't mind travelling 45 minutes from home just to get something to eat!

Ordered some food on a busy Saturday - got home and the order was missing some chips from the mini fish and chips . Phoned the staff and they were apologetic and the missing item was sent to my address within 15 mins . Excellent customer service and food was lovely - could be the best chippy in Cov and I live near Aldermans Green chippy , ssssssssshhhhhhh
