Best chippy in the area. Not had a bad experience in 20 odd years of going there.

Nice food but bad customer service. The staff just get angry at me because i could not understand what she’s saying. will never go there anymore although the food is nice. It left me traumatized.

If you order online wait. Delivery drivers being served at the very end of que first costumers in shop no matter if order have been made 30 minutes earlier. Not very good taste of food.

As seems to be the way with most chip shops around here, they start out great then go downhill. First it was Seaspray going from fantastic chips to almost guaranteed abdominal issues if you ate from there, now Cooper's have gone from amazing chips to overly greasy, mushy chips. Something has definitely changed for the standards to slip so much and if I was to guess, judging by how great the owner is, it is likely one or two of the staff working there who are letting things down. I've switched to Veggie Corner who so far haven't delivered a bad meal yet and the chips are always perfect.

We brought a mini fish and chips and beef samosa. The packing of the items was very bad. The mini fish and chips was all sticky to the paper that they folded it.I kindly advise them to improve their packing so that it will be nice to have it.Thank you

Coopers fish bar does the most delicious vegan fish and chips! I have had banana blossom fish alternative at fish and chip shops before but it was a poor substitute I felt, however Coopers vegan fish is absolutely amazing! The colour and texture is extremely similar to fish - white and flaky and the taste is very authentic - a slight fishy taste but not overpowering. I also tried their fish fingers which tasted more like fish cakes to be honest but very delicious fishcakes so no complaints from me! The vegan menu is surprisingly extensive so plenty of choice. The chips were equally good and all very reasonably priced. A member of staff confirmed that the chips were also vegan. Definitely worth a special trip even if you're not based in Coventry
