Hungry Horse in Coventry

After 1,5 h waiting ( was inform about 45mins) I get my Jack Burger with patty, cheese and bacon only ( without lettuce, tomato,onion, bbq sauce, pickled red onion). The best food joke in my life. My last one time there. Really recommended NOT.

Over 45 minutes from order to service. No apologies. Ordered a chicken bacon lettuce wrap and baguette & 2 childrens meals, 2 small pieces of chicken on the wrap, 3 on the baguette and no bacon on either. Children's meals were better sized portions.Won't be going again.

We visited this evening for a family birthday celebration. Two staff members (both called Steve) were the only members of staff on shift but you would not be able to tell. They were both genuinely exceptional. They served everything on time, built a great rapport with my family and were always around to answer questions and to check everything was ok. Thanks again, you made our evening.

My partners fries were reheated and had a terrible texture. I had the mixed grill ,the worst steak I've ever had tough and sinewy the sausages looked like they had been reheated from breakfast ,the gammon tasted good but looked burnt or cooked on a grill that hadn't been cleaned recently. But my chips and peas were fine

We have been going here for a while but something has changed the food has been coming out either cold and not cooked properly, or burnt, and doesn’t look appealing. Its a shame as it was nice but has gone downhill. Also last time we went there wasnt many people in there but we waited a very long time for food for it to not be very nice.

Went for food today and I will definitely not be visiting here again. My chicken looked uncooked and soggy. I was told the chicken is brought in already cooked so there was no way it was not cooked( so it’s not fresh then).They did plate up some more food but looked exactly the same.The cook then brought out our puddings even tho the dinner plates were covering the table so we had to stack them up ourselves. The cook looked very stressed and her nails were filthy, completely put me off and we left straight away.

Went there today with my husband for a mixed grill, drinks & pudding. Haven't been here for over 4 years due to it going downhill.Food was lovely . Tasty and warm. Tables were clean The staff were friendly, warm and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again soon.

We eat here fairly regularly and the food is always good and the staff are amazing! especially Steve who always takes a bit of extra time to make sure the children are happy, fast service (dependant on how busy it is, of course) and service with a smile! One of our favourite places to eat in Coventry would highly recommend especially to families

We arrived at the venue to be told by a rude member of staff we couldn’t be seated because they were too full but from view, we could see there were tables. Food was a 2 hour wait. When the food arrived it was cold and some were burnt. Tables we sat on still have old food still left on them and food still left in bowls. After we finished with our food and drinks, no staff were even taking away the finished glasses and plates. There was no room for anything. Very disappointed.

Food was awful I’m afraid. Ordered chicken skewers along with some sides. Chicken was brown inside with strange taste/smell, absolutely turned my stomach. Was refunded but sorry won’t be eating here again. Even the waitress said to me it looked like pork or some other meat not chicken
