Istanbul Resturant in Coventry

Awful service. Ordered through uber eats this evening at 20.51. Didn’t receive order. Instanbul said it was delivered at 10.25? Disgraceful. Not only do YOU not fet your food. They lie and say its been delivered. DO NOT USE

Just ordered the mega mixed kebab and salad for delivery. It arrived too quickly and it smelled very bad. The salad was just 2 pieces of tomato and huge portion of onion. All of them straight to the bin. The only good thing about it was the Pepsi drink.

Oh my god please listen to the Google reviews because I regret not the kebab smelt like something had died it was the worst thing I’ve ever smelt please don’t order from here I feel I’ll just from smelling this I’ve always heard good stuff about this place I don’t know what has happened but don’t eat from here wasted my money went straight in the bin

Gone downhill. maybe be new owners. Worst customer service to food portion size, which they cant make there mind up on what is large or small change every order. Every Time i order thinking its a one off but no changes. Just living of the name. Food aint all that no more.

Probably one of the worst kebabs I've ever had, meat smelled off, and there was tons of gristle. People who say its the best in Cov need to get tested for c19 because they've clearly lost their taste. Avoid at any cost. Simply horrible

Quality seems to have suffered in the last couple of years. Don't get me wrong it is still miles ahead of your local chippy kebab, bu no longer the best kebab in the world ever.

I will never order any food from this place ever again. I am really curious how it is still open. The food came ice cold, the lahmacun I bought was burnt, the salad included only onion, the baklava was spoiled, the salads that I ordered (ezme salad and cacik) smelled funny and had strange taste. The one star goes to the Coca Cola that I ordered, the nicest thing from my order and it was nice because it wasn't made from the staff in the restaurant. Don't waste your money there! I hope this restaurant will close doors soon!

Best in Coventry. Shame the original two brothers have retired. There son's have taken it to the next level...but the can never replace there father's when it comes to good customer relationships.

Gone down hill ever since the older owners left, looks like the have handed over the business ​to younger family members who quite frankly have not got a clue about service. 20 yrs ive been going here time to find another turkish establishment plenty to choose from in the city!

Delicious food even after years. I haven't been here since I graduated from university and I recently had the chance to taste it once more, same taste after years! The chicken kebab being my favourite was crispy and juicy! Friendly staff, would definitely recommend! Also, great of them to add chicken doner!
