Old Clarence in Coventry

We came yesterday thinking we would get the average pub meal, we were wrong both meals were excellent. My steak was the best I've had in more than three years. Nice friendly pub the only thing that let it down was the lack of real ale, doom bar was available but I would rather go without than drink that. We will be back very soon

Nice food, easy atmosphere, very friendly staff quite delightful.

Friendly staff. Only had drinks. Easy to obtain free parking ticket. Tables needed a wipe but I am sure the staff would have obliged had we asked. Not a bad palace and lovely beer garden

I have always felt really welcomed by the staff at The Old Clarence. Lovely homely atmosphere and tasty food too. I recommend the Old Clarence for a lovely meal with friends and family, or a nice local night out.

Large bar , plenty of seating

We had our staff Christmas Party in the function room. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, food was great and would thoroughly recommend. Can't wait for next year's party.

Will 100% be back the food and staff are brilliant I have never been into a place with my children that is so adapting to them. Such a friendly and family pub

Went there for supper, was ignored at the bar so decided to order via the app.Couldn't do that as the app said food menu wasn't available.So went back to the bar to order to be ignored again and then was informed they had workmen booked in to the kitchen so they had already closed.If the workmen were booked in it seema safe to assume this was known about yet there was no notices on display to warn people.Perhaps I caught them on a bad night but there are way too many other pubs to bother going back.

Super value for $$. Monday to Friday 12 to 6pm there is 50% off. I got this mixed grilled platter at 4.5 pounds. Friendly staff and huge portions! Will be back for the burgers!30 wings for 5.5 pounds after 50% discount. Tender and flavourful!!!
