Poseidon Fish Bar in Coventry

Must be the best fish and chip shop in Coventry. Don’t be fooled by long queues, they move pretty quickly and worth the short wait. If you want fish let them know when you arrive as it will be cooked fresh for you.

Food always hot, pasties taste nice but as they are put in the microwave pastry it just soggy. Everything else is great.

Local fish & chips shop, walking distance from my home.Much better than Binley Mega Chippy

Brilliant fish and chips, love that they're open on a Sunday too!

Fresh and tasty food. Will definitely recommend this place.

Best chip shop in Coventry.I always go for Kebab and burgers for the family on a Saturday .....high quality food and great staffThank you to all staff at poseidon for the great service

Fresh, tasty and affordable food. Definitely recommend this fish bar

Lovely clean friendly staff great fish and chips

First time i ever used this chippy i was lied to when told they don’t take card payments when they actually do. Prejudice i suspect played a role but brushed it off and returned. Yesterday i paid for a large portion of chips amongst other but when i got home it was a regular portion and a small one at that. The staffer was somewhat distracted and had to repeat myself a few times and no apology. Considering i am relatively new to this place and the impression received so far is a negative - i shall not be coming back.

Normally a great chippy, but for the second time, the long await for a fresh piece of fish was the worst fish ever from all the chips shop I’ve ever been to. The fish was over cooked like it had been re-dipped to make hot again, completely burnt and hard, with no meat in the tail end, the meat else where was dry.
