Nice staff. Not visited for a couple of years and I felt it had gone down. Furnishings were dirty in part of the pub. My dish came out looking tasty, but as I was eating it part of it was cold in the middle.Wont be returning my friend won't be either.

Great service - seated quickly, provided with food and drink VERY quickly - the bottomless brunch is exactly what it says on the tin … Thanks to our server Smaranda - you made our morning :-) The food was ace too!

We went there for afternoon tea, it was alright, but nothing special. Also they did not have scones, but a similar looking item which was rather disappointing.

Stopped off for cocktails, 2 for 1 offer made it reasonable value at about £6 per cocktail. Nice evening so we sat outside. Busy but service was good.

I visited on the Saturday prior to mother's day as a treat from my husband, with my 2 young children. It wasn't too busy when we arrived.We had booked the afternoon tea, 1 with cocktails and a further 2 normal. We sat down and I ordered my cocktails and waiter brought over 1 hot drink. An hour went by and we still hadn't had any food. My husband asked for a coffee which should be provided with his order and the waiter was a bit awkward although we had already paid for this to be included.After a good while longer, we received our order but the sandwiches and other treats did not match the online menu, and this had not been mentioned when ordering. My children are fussy eaters so we must plan what they will eat when we arrange to eat out. There were no sandwiches they would eat at all. After we mentioned this, we were asked by a waitress 'are you sure you read the menu correctly', which I found particularly rude. We showed her the online menu and she took the sandwiches away to speak with the kitchen. A further 45 minutes went by with no mention of when we might receive this and also no apology for the mistake or long wait time (2.5 hours in total for sandwiches and cake is not really acceptable) so my husband requested a refund of the deposit we had paid and we left and ate somewhere else nearby which was a much more pleasant experience for early mother's Day.Such a shame as I visited this venue for afternoon tea previously when attending a baby shower and it was lovely. I won't be returning in the future, particularly not with children.

Best place for day drinks with the 2-4-1 cocktails and lunch deals!

I have booked for a bottomless brunch here and me and my friends had an amazing time.The food was really good and the staff was amazing.We want to give as well a shoutout to Pierre as he is being amazing to us and had a great customer service.Will definitely recommend

Very disappointing and ruined my friends hen do . Can’t lie was fast with drinks being server quickly ect.There was a lot of us but was in a tight corner .the food was bland and just sloppy.Then the female bouncer completely ruined the night. We wasn’t a loud bunch and wasn’t coursing any problems. However our hen had a very long with being at a spa day and the food then more food followed with drinks. She was a little sick which I think anyone would be. But she had to leave the premises? Honestly I have known anything like it. The bride to be clearly needed to feel a little better which she did after anyway. But to be treated like you’ve done something . I would understand if she was aggressive or coursing problems but to be a little sick in the toilet when she went to the ladies please. I still don’t know how her even knew she was sick in the toilet in cubicles any way. Which concerns me about privacy.The next thing everyone was being to told to leave! all the bouncers where talking on there head sets like she was some sort of trouble maker, as I walked passed one I heard them say “yeah she is here” “they are leaving with her now!” Just think it was rude unnecessary and the fact we all paid a lot of money to be there. Wouldn’t even let some of us finish our drinks which we had paid for.I am still baffled by this and to be honest I won’t be going there again .

They kept the drinks flowing nice n quick so there wasn’t much waiting aroundThe area down stairs turns into a dance floor tooGreat location. Right next to the CathedralOnly part that ruined my night was the lady bouncer at the door… was chatting to her and then she asked me why I was asking so many questions and if I can out to fight … sooo rude. I came out like everyone else just to have a good timeBeen here a few times now just won’t be so chatty with the staff

Cozy pub with an interesting history. Housed in an old court house, the judges chair remains and the dock. Even the jail doors have been kept.
