Beware! Worst restaurant ever. Not just worth money, not worth the time as well. 3 small pieces of fish for pakora, Cheese chilli naan with full of chillies without cheese, prawns dipped in tomato purée as curry. Place to avoid!!!

Really good food, seemed to have changed ownership towards the end of 2021, but now back under the original owners and food is back to being fantastic after a dip under the previous management, service is great, really friendly. The usual Indian restaurant staples are fantastic but would recommend getting anything off the specials section of the menu.

Takeaway- ordered 3 dishes. Based on it being local and good reviews. On reaching home with the takeaway the prawn tikka masala was great, along with the plain naans. However we also ordered 2 sizzling platters (one fish and one tandoori meat) both supposed to be for 2 people menu price £14 and £11 respectively. We have had other platters for 2, from other local restaurants in the past, so we were very let down by the portion size. The fish one had 6 small pieces altogether that may have been OK for 1 person, but never two, plus the small salmon piece lacked flavour when compared to the nice masal fish. The tandoori platter would be enough for 1.5 people. When I queried this with the restaurant by phone, I was told that this was standard, 6 pieces for £14 for 2 people to share, so beware! The photo attached is of the contents we recieved minus one prawn, there are a lot of onions which filled up the container. So advice is don't go for anything that may be a sharer as you will be disappointed. It may be better to go to the restaurant for your sizzlers than order a takeaway. I was disappointed that the restaurant did not offer to do anything to compensate us for our disappointment, hence the review. I have fedback to a couple of restaurants in the past when things have gone wrong and they have appreciated the feedback and made amends. Shame that this one could not.

Worst ever I had. I donno how they got 4.5 rating. May be there kwb friends gave few ratings. I ordered chilli paneer, mushroom fried rice, chicken curry, fish karahi with naans. Except fish karahi others were a bighest flop. No salt, no sproper spices, no taste at all. Felt like i was eating raw food. We were the only one customer at thatbtime. Donno how worst it will be if few more customers are there. Highly highly advise not to go and waste money. Too expensive for the taste and quantity🙄

Just had a takeaway from the Sonargaon , my husband collected and said how nice it is inside after a spruce up and under new management. My husband also said how friendly and welcoming the staff were so I was looking forward to eating my meal which looked ok but unfortunately it was quite poor. The chicken was so dry and overcooked that I had to spit it out . The sauce lacked any flavour and seasoning and although I have had worse this was certainly in my bottom 3. The special fried rice I ordered was also very lacking in any flavour , it contained onion, egg and peas which again was not the same standard as many other establishments I have tried . Sadly we will not be returning 😪
