The Botanist Coventry in Coventry

What a lovely venue to visit, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is like a big victorian greenhouse, full of interesting plants. Not too expensive for such a great atmosphere. The hanging kebabs are totally different from what we are used to. We'll worth a visit.

This was our first visit to The Botanist . It was a lunch time visit and the food was a choice of 5 dishes out of a number on offer. It was tasty and surprisingly filling. Billie our waitress was helpful and gave us plenty of time to choose from the menu !The surroundings are colourful and relaxing, the bridges and water flowing added ambience to this large restaurant.I can imagine the evening with the extended menu to be well worth another visit .

I went there for the cocktails if I'm being honest. These kinds of restaurants always disappoint me when it comes to food, it's ways overpriced and it seems like they would invest more on their interior designer than the chef.I had very low expectations but as it turned out, I didn't have to worry because all of the dishes we ordered turned out really really good.Service was good too, definitely coming back!

Couple of years back I did not had a great experience, the cocktails were not only expensive but tasteless. The new bartender is young but makes delicious cocktails. A bit pricey for food & drinks but worth if want to have an exotic experience.

A great spot in the center, with the most amazing interior decor! The food was good, but eating in this garden gable was a real treat. Other tables had ordered kebabs which swing on a hook, but that’s not our style, the mezze platter was definitely a winner for us. Coffees were real brewed, no acrid or acid flavours! Staff were friendly and helpful, full of smiles.

I went to The Botanist for the first time and had a mixed experience. I was given a really dirty glass, with lipstick marks and asked for a new one. The guy brought me another one without even looking to it, because it was also dirty and wet. We also ordered 2 beers, one of them came with a massive dent. Not a very good experience to begin with.On the other hand, the food was amazing, and considering I am vegan, there was quite a few options to choose from for dinner. And a delicious tart, a little bit sweet for my taste, but really good.

The food is very tasty!l An excellent choice if you want a balanced diet! The salad with the extra chicken was delicious! The dressing of the broccoli was exceptional. The plant based burger was very good too.

A very pretty location, lovely mocktails and even had Romanian wine on the menu. We tried the food sharers - coated fried onions, hummus and squid with seaweed and they were very tasty. A little pricey but very nice atmosphere, great decor and located around the corner from the carpark. Food came out very quickly so that was a plus!

It was a particularly good experience. I accidentally knocked over the glass that I had not taken a few sips of. A tall bro kept saying it was okay and helped me sort it out. Then unexpectedly gave me another glass of new cocktail. Really heartwarming!!

What a lovely service, food and environment~ Enjoy the cocktails and lively music. Highly recommended the hot board and hanging kebabs. They provide large portions, made us felt full and content after dinner.
