Did not enjoy my food, I had a surf and turf and the majority of my steak was inedible; I had also asked for it to be medium rare and I recieved it close to well done (I had asked for a plate instead of a skillet to prevent it from cooking further than medium rare). I did happen to notice the staff serving a man as he was walking to the bar because he was clearly a regular and the bar staff knew what he was going to order even though I was already stood at the bar waiting to be served.

Firstly the meals were freshly cooked and well prepared and exactly as ordered. Very well done everyone. Drinks perfect too.Secondly we had a double family birthday and staff were kind enough to light candles on 2 cakes we brought and bring them to our table to complete a fine meal.Thirdly, all Staff were polite and well mannered as usual.Fourthly, we did book online as usual too, very easily and reserved a table which was free for us arriving at 12 noon.Thank you Brooklands.

Very disappointed, we've used the Brooklands many times pre Covid as my aunt lives very close and it's convenient for Sunday lunch, the standard has ( in my opinion) dropped well below acceptable standards. We will not be dining here again.

Absolute embarrassment! Went to meet my partner and some of her friends from a local special needs school who had just broke up for Christmas. After 2 drinks everyone was refused service for being too loud!!!! When questioned we were told the part we were in was a restaurant and a family area. We moved to the bar and was once again told no one would be served! This was a group of teachers who had had 2 drinks after finishing school for the year. We weren’t even there 2 hours! As a person there who hadn’t had a drop of beer their reasoning was a complete joke, add that to the fact the waitress couldn’t of been ruder, and any more condescending and when questioned they accused me of being drunk……even though I hadn’t drank a drop! This place is without doubt an absolute shambles of a place. I’d highly recommended you avoid this absolute shambles of an establishment. The staff are a total embarrassment.

Disappointing. Seem to be struggling for staff. No Tribute or Doombar on. Hadn't had time to change the barrels.Several menu options also not available due they said to high demand of 50% off offer. One of our party had the steak. Although cooked as required, there was a lot of gristle and fat in the cut of meat that was served.Have used the pub several times for meals before and always been very satisfied.Hopefully this is just a blip.
