Very nice themed looking pub. A clean and friendly feel with bar staff also very attentive unfortunately I did not stay long enough to be overly nice and or critical. The lunch time when I visited was quite but this a nice pub

Went for lunchtime pizza and beer deal, it was well priced at £11. I opted for the vegan margherita and it was cooked to perfection. The lady serving me was very friendly as well, kudos to her and the place was spotless. I will definitely visit again when I'm next in the area. 😉

Wow, where do I start with the Galentine's Day Bottomless Brunch. The manager was fantastic, no glass was left empty, the waiters were attentive, and any issues that arose were dealt with quickly.I booked for 16 of us and we were blown away with the value for money with The Castle Ground. The handwritten card for our group was a lovely touch.We are already planning to book for Easter!Thank you especially to Nikki & Emily for making our brunch so worthwhile! :)

We went in for a quick meal at lunchtime. We had to wait 50 minutes for it with no explanation to the delay until I went and asked after 40 minutes of waiting. A member of the team had been taken poorly midshift which happens. It would be courteous to inform customers of any delays. The food itself was okayish. Cleanliness inside was poor, menus and tables were dirty. Bar staff were polite and efficient.

Horrible place! We came to eat and drink something, but we felt the smell inside and we just changed our minds and left the pub. The smell is so bad and strong, alcohol and toilet in same time. If you want to go there just for drinking than it's fine if you're a fan of these places but otherwise for food or something else, is a big no.

Great pub to watch sporting events, definitely my go to for a night out after work, great selection of drinks and really good wings

I came in last night for a few games of pool and I was blown away with what I found! Amazing pool table, amazing beer's and amazing staff the best of all was the manager Eloise! She was so friendly! I will definitely be coming here again and would give it 6 stars (if google would allow it)

I used to come here as a student (10 years ago) and thought nothing of it. Since going back recently they have really improved it a lot, its like a completely different pub. Fantastic beer, tasty food and competitive prices. Felt very welcomed by all of the staff and nothing was too much for them. Highly recommended!

First time visit today.me and my son ordered food I had the fish it was really nice my son ordered a pizza which we later found out the first one had been burnt so I'd pretty much finished mine by the time the pizza came its a pretty relaxed pub which is good and they have a pool table which is a bonus 😊
