Our go to pub in the area. Huge selection of gins and decent whisky too. The beer is good and there's plenty of places to get a quiet spot for the night.

I hummed & arred about popping to this place for Sunday lunch.Thankgoodness I didn't deliberat too much.Food fantastic, carnivores meal... complete. Yum. My friend had a vegetarian meal. Next time I'm asking for both on one plate. Wow.Well done Chestnut kitchen staff for preparing and delevering an excellent, tasty, ' wanna come back again ' Sunday lunch.In fact...all staff were efficient, courteous and obviously enjoying their employment..Wonderful to see that a local public house knows what the public needs.A home made dinner by staff that care.Carry on and enjoy the rewards.

Beer okay but expensive nearly double Witherspoon prices !The whole place needs renovating - toilets disgusting

Great Sunday lunch and we always feel welcomed. Child friendly and offering good pub grub.

We go here for Sunday lunch and food is the best I've tasted but always book in advance as they are very busy on a Sunday

Excellent traditional pub will very friendly staff.Good selection of beers.Features a snug, pool room, darts, and tv room and lounge area...large outdoor area at the rear.Highly recommended.
